A leading company in the international trade and customs clearance sector is seeking a Customs Clearance Specialist with in-depth knowledge of customs procedures and laws related to import and export. The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the field and be fluent in both Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process the necessary documentation for customs clearance, including import certificates, invoices, certificates of origin, and packing lists.
• Apply for health approvals related to food, agricultural, and cosmetic products as per the applicable laws.
• Submit customs declarations and handle the payment of duties and taxes for imported and exported goods.
• Provide comprehensive services, including shipping, transportation, and storage, and assist in obtaining customs codes for companies or individuals.
• Coordinate and schedule customs inspections at various customs offices.
• File appeals against customs decisions and provide justifications for missing or inconsistent documents.
• Request extensions for temporary import periods and facilitate the acquisition of necessary permits.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in customs clearance, import, and export.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.
• Comprehensive knowledge of local and international customs regulations and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage interactions with government authorities and customs offices.
• Ability to provide innovative solutions and manage a wide variety of goods and products.
