Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of inboard and outboard engines.
- Conduct routine maintenance on engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of parts.
- Perform troubleshooting and inspection of engine components, including cooling systems, fuel systems, and exhaust systems.
- Assist in the removal, installation, and alignment of inboard and outboard engines.
- Support in identifying and repairing malfunctions in engine systems such as transmission, ignition, and electrical systems.
- Maintain and update service logs and documentation of all work completed on vessels.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures during repairs and maintenance.
- Assist senior technicians in more complex repairs and marine systems troubleshooting.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and techniques related to marine engines.
