Job Overview:
The Payment Gateway Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the payment gateway systems to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient processing of online transactions. This role requires a deep understanding of payment processing in the gaming sector, including knowledge of fraud prevention, user experience optimization, and compliance with international regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
l Payment Gateway Integration: Manage the integration of various payment gateways into our gaming platforms, ensuring compatibility with multiple currencies and payment methods.
l Transaction Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze transaction data to identify and resolve any issues related to payment processing, including failed transactions, delays, and fraud.
l Optimization: Work on optimizing payment processes to reduce transaction fees, improve authorization rates, and enhance the overall user experience.
l Compliance: Ensure all payment processes comply with relevant regulations, including PCI-DSS, AML, and other international standards.
l Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to implement payment-related features and updates. Collaborate with the customer support team to resolve payment-related inquiries.
l Reporting: Generate regular reports on transaction volumes, success rates, chargebacks, and fraud incidents. Provide insights and recommendations to the finance and product teams.
l Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with payment service providers and negotiate contracts and service level agreements.
l Security: Implement and maintain high-security standards to protect against fraud and data breaches.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
l 3+ years of experience in payment processing, with a focus on the gaming or e-commerce industry. Experience with international transactions is a plus.
l Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze large sets of transaction data to identify trends and issues. Experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
l Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
l Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing payment-related issues.
