JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
The incumbent will ensure that preparation and serving of tea, coffee, cold drinks, and other refreshments are provided as per the requirements. The incumbent will also ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the coffee bar, manages coffer bar items and ensure replenishment of refreshment materials on time.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcomes customers when they arrive in the boutique / shop
- Receive orders and serve customer requests completely in a timely manner
- Prepare and serve a selection of pastries & beverages including different types of coffee and soft drinks etc.
- Understand and explain menu content with vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions
- Answer guest queries in a polite and helpful manne
- Keep service area clean, tidy, and well-prepared
- Removes used glasses, dishes, and flatware from tables
QUALIFICIATON
- Secondary education.
- Good command of the English language both verbal and written. Knowledge of other foreign language desirable but not preferred.

- Practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling beverages
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum two (2) years’ food serving experience in a coffee shop, bar or executive lounges.
