We are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team and help us deliver exceptional dining experiences.
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. You will work closely with our Head Chef to create healthy, flavorful dishes that align with our restaurant’s ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards, focusing on health-conscious ingredients.
- Manage and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and food safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop seasonal menus and special dishes.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies.
- Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet restaurant standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to healthy eating and ingredient sourcing.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in a healthy or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Passion for healthy cooking and a commitment to quality.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training is preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
