The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems, parts, and services, combined with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will play a key role in assisting customers, recommending services, and ensuring that every interaction is seamless and professional.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs.
- Provide expert advice on car repairs, parts, and maintenance, based on customer issues.
- Review and explain service recommendations, estimates, and work orders to customers.
- Coordinate with the service technicians and parts department to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
- Schedule service appointments and maintain communication with customers throughout the process.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner.
- Ensure a smooth handover of vehicles to customers once work is completed.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies, parts, and services.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, or similar role in an automotive environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and repair processes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex automotive issues to customers in a clear, understandable manner.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Experience working with a team of technicians and managing labor resources.
- Knowledge of automotive software or service management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
