What We're Looking For:

We’re seeking a visionary Academic Manager who is as committed to nurturing Islamic values as they are to maintaining educational rigor. The ideal candidate is a trailblazer in virtual education with experience managing a diverse team of educators, curriculum designers, and support staff. We are looking for someone who thrives in an innovative, startup-like environment, and has the unique ability to balance spiritual guidance with educational leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of 30+ teachers and curriculum developers to design and deliver a high-quality, faith-based academic experience.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for curriculum development, teacher training, and student engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs, ensuring they meet academic standards and Islamic guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and personal development within the team.
  • Work closely with the COO, and administration team to align educational goals with the overall vision and mission of the school.
  • Cultivate a positive virtual learning environment where students are inspired to achieve both academically and spiritually.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Deep understanding of both the American K-12 education system and Islamic pedagogy.
  • Proven experience in remote/online education management, with a track record of success in leading teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to inspire, guide, and support teachers and staff from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Project management prowess– capable of juggling multiple projects and deadlines with grace.
  • Tech-savvy mindset– familiarity with educational technology platforms and tools for remote teaching and collaboration.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong plus.
