What you will do:
- The payroll specialist is responsible for the following tasks.
- Process of payroll of employees for designated geography.
- Collect input from different platforms and prepare the payroll input.
- Reconcile the payroll received from payroll vendor with the input submitted.
- Check the bank file and secure approval from respective People Business Partner and submit the finance team for payment.
- Coordinate with payroll vendor in delivering timely pay slips and other statutory reports.
- Reconcile the social security, tax reports and coordinate with the auditors for monthly/quarterly/Annual submission.
- Submit the JVs and other reports to finance on time.
- Filling the SOX and ABC control on monthly basis.
- Updating the archive with all the payroll related information.
- Reconciliation of monthly payroll in detail and highlight the differences.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/Annual reports.
- Reconciliation of monthly GL reports with the payroll JV reports.
- Prepare End of service settlement and support exit management.
- Support different audit and submit the audit related data on time.
- Support People Business Partner and Total Reward in preparing different ad hoc reports.
- Support Payroll manager in different projects of implementation of payroll in different countries.
- Prepare salary related budget and monthly forecast.
- Coordinate with payroll vendors on monthly payroll operations and make sure all the information submission is on time and vendor adhering the deadlines.
- Update payroll work instructions.
The skills you bring:
- Excellent understanding of payroll processes, JVS, Social security and tax submission (in Arabic).
- Good Excel and Analytical skills.
- Sensitive to high level confidential information
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of using SAP SuccessFactors is a plus.
Background:
- 3-7 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
- Strong knowledge of Statutory submission of social security and tax (in Arabic)
- Understanding of basic accounting principles. How to do the monthly reconciliation between accruals and payments.
- Knowledge of local labour laws of in-scope countries.
- Experience working in a matrix organization.
