Job Summary
The Assistant Workshop Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the automobile workshop, ensuring high-quality service, safety, and efficiency. This role involves managing a team of technicians, maintaining equipment, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Workshop Management:

• Oversee daily operations of the workshop.
• Schedule and assign tasks to technicians and staff.

Quality Control:

• Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment.

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

Training and Development:

• Train new employees on procedures and equipment.
• Facilitate ongoing training for staff on new technologies and techniques.

Customer Relations:

• Communicate with customers about their vehicle’s status and recommended services.
• Address customer complaints and feedback effectively.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor stock levels of parts and supplies.
• Place orders and manage vendor relationships.

Planning and Coordination:

• o Schedule workshops on topics like engine repair, electrical systems, or diagnostics.
• o Prepare and distribute materials such as manuals, tools, and safety gear.

Supervision:

• o Monitor participants during hands-on activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• o Provide guidance on proper techniques and tool usage.

Requirements:

· Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile engineering or a globally recognized Automotive Technical certification, such as ITI (Industrial Training Institute NCVT Certificate) or ITC.

· Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technician, specializing in German, European, and American and Asian vehicle models.

· Proficiency in utilizing diagnostic equipment and special Service Tools to inspect various vehicle systems, including Engine, Transmission, Brake, Suspension, A/C, Electrical, and Hybrid systems.

· Ability to accurately read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain records in job orders.

· Demonstrated technical expertise in independently servicing, repairing, and overhauling vehicle components.

· Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods, particularly in Premium brands such as Bentley, BMW, VW, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, Jeep, etc.

· Competency in performing car computer analysis and utilizing various types of scan tools, wiring diagrams, and workshop manuals.

· Possession of a valid UAE driving license will be advantageous.
