*Role Description:
Overseeing cash transactions, managing customer orders, and supervising staff to ensure smooth operations at the point of sale. Supervise and manage other staff to ensure a high level of service and masterful food preparation and service. Your duties will include greeting customers and helping them with their orders, assembly of orders, operating a cash register and other duties.
*Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in your area of concern.
- Authorize payments and the return of merchandise.
- Ensures the work area is ready for service with pre- and post-service checks completed.
- Ensure stock rotation occurs and stock is ‘held’ in the correct manner, recording any wastage.
- Encourage team work and communication with bartenders and wait staff.
- Engages in guests’ interaction in a sensitive and appropriate manner.
- Helping out other staff members as needed during your shift.
- May perform managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the outlet, managing escalated complaint.
*Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the respective position is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Your shifts/hours will be varied according to the business needs, which will include day-time, night-time and weekends on a rota basis.
