Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lifting plans in accordance with ADNOC Onshore/ Offshore policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Supervise all aspects of lifting operations, including the setup, rigging, and execution of (Simple, Complicated and Complex) lifts, both in ADNOC offshore and onshore worksites.
- Lead and coordinate a team of Crane Operators, Riggers, and Banksmen to ensure that lifting activities are conducted safely and efficiently.
- Prioritize and promote Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives, emphasizing the importance of safe lifting practices.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of international standards and regulations related to lifting engineering practices and ensure compliance within the organization.
- Act as a point of contact for any lifting-related queries or concerns, providing guidance and support to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives for lifting personnel, ensuring that they possess the necessary skills and competencies to perform their roles effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to coordinate lifting activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of lifting equipment and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Keep accurate records of lifting activities, including documentation of lift plans, risk assessments, and equipment inspections.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in oil & gas lifting operations, encompassing both offshore and onshore settings, with at least 5 years in a comparable role.
- Completed the 4-day Appointed Person course (LIMS) through a Training Company approved by ADNOC Group, under the guidance of an approved Tutor, with subsequent assessments scheduled every 3 years.
- Successfully trained and assessed on the specific type of offshore or onshore crane.
- Hold a valid AP certificate/ ADNOC Approval.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
