Project Manager
Qualification Required : Bachelor s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Experience Required : PMI Certified having Min 5 -10 Yrs experience as Project Manager,Gulf experience preferred.
Job Details
Review, approve drawings, specifications, and procedures / method statements before commencement of work and
inspection activities as well as confirm drawings, specifications and procedures are in the latest revision.
Ensure all material requisitions have been issued according to the shop-drawings & project specifications prior submitting it to the Procurement.
Review and approve material requisitions as per the approved delegation of authority matrix.
Review variation orders regarding extra or rework that has been delivered and submit it for approval.
Review the payment certificate for work that has been executed prior to submitting the same to the client for payment.
Review and approve suppliers/vendors and subcontractors payments prior to being released by the Finance Department.
Manage the coordination and collaboration among different disciplines within the project site such as Civil, HVAC, MEP etc.,to ensure smooth delivery of project.
Develop communication system to ensure that all projects information is timely available & communicated for different projects.
Monitor project progress at all phases to ensure that all targets are reached and that the overall project is completed in accordance with agreed budget, timescales, cost and scope as well as adjust project plans as appropriate according to recent projects updates Monitor expenditures against approved budget and reconcile budget variances to ensure on-target performance against budgets.
Manage the preparation and distribution of progress reports, risk logs and issues, correct deviations from plans, and performdelivery planning for assigned projects. Coordinate with projects Key stakeholders on reviews and buy-in and obtain their approvals on the same as required,
discuss projects issues with project sponsors & stakeholders, set action and correction plan in order to be on the right track.
Minimize project delays and cost overruns by ensuring adequate resources and support are made available.
Conduct inspections at the sites on a regular basis, identify any civil, mechanical, electrical or plumbing issues in the on-going project and provide guidance to resolve issues.
Attend regular meetings with upper management, clients, vendors and consultants and keeping them informed of progress.
Identify and implement necessary contract change orders with vendors and clients.
Ensure proper & efficient utilization of equipment and coordinate with the logistics team for acquiring or returning equipment.
