About Us: We are committed of providing compassionate and high-quality care for seniors, particularly those living with dementia. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Dementia Caregiver to join our team and support our clients in maintaining their dignity and quality of life.
Position Overview: As a Senior Dementia Caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities while providing emotional support and promoting their overall well-being. You will work closely with families and healthcare professionals to ensure personalized care that meets each client’s unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to seniors with dementia, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and emotional well-being.
- Monitor and document changes in clients’ behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the appropriate parties.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a European caregiver, preferably with seniors or individuals with dementia.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications in caregiving, first aid, or CPR are preferred.
