Job Summary:
The General manager Assistant will play a dual role, managing day-to-day accounting functions and handling purchasing activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and possesses a basic understanding of accounting principles and procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and ledger entries.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Process purchase orders, obtain quotes, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and procurement policies.
- Resolve discrepancies related to orders, invoices, and payments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or procurement (preferred).
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
