Job Purpose
The Market Analyst in the Procurement section will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research and analysis to support procurement strategies and t enhance supplier engagement. The role requires a focus on data-driven decision-making, ensuring competitiveness in sourcing, and effectively anticipating market trends to optimize procurement operations.
Principal Accountabilities
Market Research and Analysis
· Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, pricing structures, and potential supply risks for various categories.
· Provide insights into market conditions and competitor strategies affecting procurement plans.
· Assess supplier markets and conduct SWOT analysis to aid in supplier selection.
· Conduct market analysis to allocate the best bidders to participate to the related tender
Data Management and Reporting
· Gather and analyses procurement data to generate reports for strategic decision-making.
· Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
· Present analytical findings to stakeholders, highlighting actionable recommendations based on market insights.
· Responsible on procurement dashboard along with the alignment with FCA Strategy
Support Procurement Strategies
· Collaborate with procurement team members to develop data-driven sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals.
· Identify opportunities for cost savings and value enhancement through effective supplier management and negotiation strategies.
· Monitor economic and industry developments that could impact procurement activities and strategic initiatives.
Supplier Engagement
· Assist in the evaluation of supplier proposals and contracts from a market perspective, ensuring value for money and adherence to procurement policies.
· Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and market experts to gather insights and support effective supplier management.
