Job Description
Gargash Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and support to patients with a variety of mental health needs. This role requires a dedicated professional who is adept at handling complex cases and is committed to making a positive impact on patient well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and families on coping strategies and mental health practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and follow ethical and professional standards.
Requirements:
- DHA License to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Dubai.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setup within Dubai.
- Strong knowledge of psychological theories and practices, and experience in handling diverse psychological conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Psychologist.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Psychologist in a hospital / clinic setting in Dubai.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferable.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-based, fast-paced environment.
