1. Preplanning of tasks and providing feedback to project Engineers/Managers on sequence of work activities & usage of equipment.
2. Liaise with workshop team and installation team on site to ensure the optimum utilization of available resources, with the overall objective of successful completion of the project.
3. Perform internal inspections to ensure that the fit ups are of set standards prior to offering QC / Client inspections.
4. Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join metal components.
5. Conduct on-site measurements and adjustments as needed.
6. Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment and tools.
7. Identify and resolve issues related to equipment or materials promptly.
8. Exercise discipline at the work site to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practices and idleness.
9. Proactive participation in identifying errors Workshop and effective reporting
10. Follow the day-to-day operations related to the job site to ensure continuity of work.
*Experience / Qualification & Skills**:
- Thorough knowledge in various types of steel works, steel structures and welding procedure specifications.
- Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
- Diploma in engineering or equivalent.
- 5-6 years of experience as Foreman/Site Supervisor or Lead position
A willingness to learn.
