About the job ELV Revit Modeler

ICA / ELV Revit Modeler (ICT, BMS, CCTV, Access Control Systems, PAGA & Instrumentation, Control & Automation)

This is a 6 months contract role. Need notice period- Immediate to 30 days (max)

Job Description

Experience

- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical/ELV/ICA Revit Modeler or similar role is preferred.

- Experience working on commercial, residential, or industrial projects is advantageous.

  • Collaborate with ICA/ELV engineers and other team members to develop detailed design plans for BMS, CCTV, Access Control Systems, Fire Alarm System, PAGA System, Telecom, Intercom Systems and Instrumentation, Control & Automation works using Autodesk Revit 2020 or latest version.
  • Create accurate and comprehensive 3D models for each of the above systems, incorporating the related devices, control panels, network cabinets, and related components.
  • Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and MEP team to ensure proper integration and coordination of all system elements within the overall building model.
  • Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and documentation to effectively communicate design intent to internal teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Contribute to the ELV & ICA design efforts, specifying the devices and ensuring appropriate coverage for different building spaces.
  • Design control room layouts including panel layouts, operator workstations and large screen monitors, as required.
  • Participate actively in Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes, fostering collaboration and coordination among various project stakeholders.
  • Manage and update Revit models throughout the design and construction phases, incorporating revisions and changes as required.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the electrical models and associated documentation.
Qualifications

- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software with a focus on ICT/ELV & Instrumentation & Control systems.

- Strong understanding of design principles, codes, and standards for the above disciplines.

- Relevant education or experience in electrical engineering or a related field.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Familiarity with BIM processes and collaboration tools.
