About Us:
DB Investing is seeking a talented individual to join our Operations department as a Forex Operation Officer. As the Forex Operations Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our foreign exchange operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in executing trades.


Position Overview:
Your primary duties will include managing a team of forex specialists, monitoring market trends, analyzing risks, and developing strategies to optimize trading performance. You will also collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall operational effectiveness.


Role Responsibilities:

1. Operational Strategy and Process Management

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Streamline workflows and processes to improve efficiency across departments such as trading, compliance, and customer support.
  • Ensure effective use of technology platforms, including CRM, trading platforms (MT4, MT5, cTrader), and payment systems.

2. Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from governing bodies such as the FSA and SCA
  • Oversee reporting to regulatory authorities and ensure transparency in client dealings.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to develop internal policies and procedures.

3. Risk Management

  • Monitor and manage operational risks, including trading risks, fraud, and data security.
  • Ensure that effective risk management strategies are in place, especially in relation to liquidity providers, trade execution, and client funds.

4. Technology and Platform Oversight

  • Coordinate with IT and trading platform providers to ensure seamless integration and operation of platforms such as MT4, MT5, and CRM systems.
  • Monitor and resolve any operational issues that arise from the trading platforms or back-office systems.
  • Oversee upgrades and ensure systems are fully functional and updated.

5. Client Support and Service Management

  • Oversee the client onboarding process, including KYC/AML verification.
  • Ensure customer support services operate efficiently to handle queries, issues, and trading disputes in a timely manner.
  • Manage relationships with third-party service providers like payment processors and liquidity providers.

6. Team Leadership and Training

  • Lead and manage the operations team, including back-office, client support, IT, and risk management departments.
  • Provide training and development for team members to stay updated on market trends, regulations, and platform updates.

7. Liquidity Management

  • Ensure the broker maintains adequate liquidity and manage relationships with liquidity providers.
  • Monitor trade execution quality to ensure best pricing and minimize slippage.

8. Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate and analyze operational reports on trade volumes, client deposits/withdrawals, customer issues, and platform performance.
  • Provide detailed reports to senior management on the operational health of the brokerage.

9. Budget and Cost Control

  • Oversee the operational budget and ensure cost-efficiency in systems, staffing, and vendor management.

10. Cross-Departmental Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between different departments (sales, marketing, compliance, IT) to ensure smooth workflows and consistency in client experience.


Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the forex industry in the Operation department
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and trading platforms
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage a team and work under high pressure and extra hours
  • Proficiency in risk management and compliance procedures
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CFA or CMT are a plus
  • Arabic and English are spoken perfectly, which is a must!
