Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Coordination:
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed project timelines and schedules, coordinating the activities of all parties involved to ensure project milestones are met.
- Resource Allocation: Ensure all required resources, including materials, labor, and equipment, are available and allocated efficiently.
- Budget Tracking: Monitor project budgets, ensuring that spending is in line with the initial budget, and identify areas where cost savings can be achieved.
- Documentation: Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, including project plans, contracts, change orders, and daily reports.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Internal Coordination: Communicate regularly with internal teams (designers, fabricators, site managers) to ensure alignment and effective problem-solving.
- Supplier Management: Coordinate with suppliers for the procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery to prevent project delays.
- Team Support: Support site supervisors, contractors, and other team members by providing clear instructions and resolving any issues that arise.
Quality Control and Compliance:
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all joinery work meets the required standards and specifications, as well as any applicable regulations.
- Health & Safety: Monitor adherence to safety guidelines on-site, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential issues early on and implement solutions to avoid delays or quality issues.
Project Close-Out:
- Final Inspections: Coordinate final inspections and ensure that all work meets client specifications and contractual agreements.
- Handover: Facilitate the smooth handover of completed projects, ensuring clients are satisfied and all project documentation is delivered.
- Post-Project Review: Conduct post-project reviews, gathering feedback from clients and stakeholders to improve future project execution.
Key Requirements:
- Education: A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, ideally in the joinery, construction, or interior fit-out industry.
