Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Manager to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing contracts throughout the lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the negotiation, drafting, and execution of contracts with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts, ensuring that the company’s interests are protected.
- Oversee the administration and compliance of contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
- Monitor project budgets, manage contract variations, and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Handle contract disputes and claims effectively to minimize project delays and maintain positive relationships with clients and contractors.
- Work closely with project managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure contracts align with project objectives and timelines.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of contracts, and provide regular reports on contract performance and issues to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of [5 ] years of experience as a Contract Manager in the construction industry. (UAE)
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, construction law, and project management processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple contracts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
