Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake classic and specialty croissants, ensuring high standards of taste and appearance.
- Handle dough lamination, including preparation, rolling, folding, and proofing.
- Experiment with new flavors and fillings based on trends or customer requests.
- Operate baking equipment safely and monitor baking times for optimal results.
- Inspect finished products for quality, maintaining consistency in size and appearance.
- Manage inventory and maintain equipment cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members and train junior staff.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of baking experience, particularly in croissants and laminated dough.
- Expert knowledge of lamination techniques and attention to detail.
- Creativity in developing new flavor profiles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
