About the role:
Within Gunnebo Middle East, we are seeking a skilled, results-driven professional to drive sales in our high-security systems sector. In this role, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop tailored security solutions, and nurture client relationships to close deals that meet client needs in high-risk environments.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of integrated physical and electronic security solutions, alongside strong customer acquisition skills and a reputation for integrity and trust-building. A key aspect of this role is active involvement in the delivery of the projects and solutions you sell, ensuring seamless implementation and alignment with client expectations.

This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent relationship management skills, and knowledge of the security industry, backed by a well-established network across the Middle East and Africa. The successful candidate will be highly motivated to build a robust sales pipeline, maximize revenue, and contribute to our growth in the high-security sector.

Reporting to: This position reports to the Vice President MEA

What you will do:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our existing and new customers, serving as the primary point of contact for all security solution-related matters. Provide expert advice and guidance on security best practices, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies via implementation of bespoke physical- and electronic security solutions.
  • Design, and implement comprehensive security solutions, including physical security and integrated security systems (incl. but not limited to CCTV, access control and intrusion alarm systems) - tailored to meet customer requirements. Collaborate with customers to understand their security needs and challenges and propose effective solutions. Stay updated with the latest security technologies and trends to continuously improve our service offering.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise in the domain of integrated security technologies, such as access control systems, CCTV and intrusion detection primarily realised as network solutions with attached cybersecurity measurements. Ensure compliance with local Middle East and African regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of security professionals by building a new department from the ground up.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging security trends, and competitive intelligence. Develop strategies to expand the company’s integrated security solutions business segment by addressing the potential of the total addressable market. Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential customers and facilitate final negotiations and contract closure.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Evaluate and negotiate contracts with security solution vendors and partners.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting, forecasting, and budget input, maintaining transparency and accountability.
  • Concentrate efforts on actions to influence product and solution selection and to secure long-term business commitments, i.e. drive business development activities to build a pipeline and maximize revenue as a result of delivered long-term customer value and satisfaction.
  • Lead and manage our response to RFP/RFI projects in conjunction with Gunnebo factories and third-party vendors.
  • Track and maintain all prospect and client activity in CRM system.
  • Maintain collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders and direct reports to ensure proper execution of opportunities and coverage at key accounts.
  • Develop a thorough competency of integrated security solutions design, with an eye on the business value within the client’s organization.

Who we are looking for:
Experience:
  • Candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in security solutions, security systems integration, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • The candidate must be fluent in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
  • Strong understanding of both physical and electronic security technologies.
  • Possesses essential experience in managing budgets, ensuring financial acumen.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • The ability to have strong customer relationships, follow through on commitments, and excel in persuasion and negotiation.
  • Broad contact network within the security industry of the Middle East and African region.
  • Strong knowledge of security industry regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa regions.
  • Places a strong focus on customer needs, providing exceptional service and support with a structured selling skillset.
  • Exhibits excellent problem-solving abilities to address challenges effectively.

Knowledge / Education:
  • Academic qualification, or equivalent qualification gained through relevant work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in security solutions, security systems integration, or a related field.
  • Experience in a managerial role.
Competences:
  • Understanding sales and marketing principles is essential (create effective sales strategies, identify target markets, leverage marketing techniques to generate leads).
  • Ability to conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities, trends and customer needs.
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with the various stakeholders.
  • Excellent communicating skills.
  • Ability to negotiate terms and agreements – skilled to find mutually beneficial solutions and close deals.
  • Ability to Identify long term growth opportunities.
