Job Title: BIM Modeler (Mechanical) – HVAC & Plumbing
Location: UAE
Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced BIM Modelers specializing in HVAC and Plumbing for high-rise building projects. The ideal candidates should have strong consultancy and UAE project experience, with a preference for immediate joiners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modeling and Coordination:
- Develop detailed HVAC or Plumbing BIM models using tools like Revit and AutoCAD.
- Ensure models comply with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for model coordination.
- Project Documentation:
- Prepare and update detailed mechanical design layouts, schematics, and isometrics.
- Generate accurate quantities and schedules from BIM models.
- Clash Detection and Resolution:
- Conduct clash detection and coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines.
- Resolve conflicts within models to optimize design accuracy.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all models meet project standards and client requirements.
- Verify models adhere to relevant UAE codes and regulations.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project teams to ensure timely deliverables.
- Attend coordination meetings and provide technical support for design issues.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in BIM modeling for high-rise building projects.
- Prior experience with engineering consultancies in the UAE.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of HVAC or Plumbing systems and design principles.
- Knowledge of UAE codes and standards (e.g., DEWA, DM, etc.).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Other Requirements:
- High-rise building project experience is mandatory.
- Preference will be given to immediate joiners.
