Job Title: BIM Modeler - Electrical
Location: UAE
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler - Electrical with a strong background in high-rise building projects, consultancy experience, and extensive UAE project knowledge. The candidate must have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical modeling and a proven ability to handle large-scale projects effectively. Preference will be given to candidates available for immediate joining.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical BIM Modeling and Design:
- Develop, maintain, and update electrical BIM models for high-rise building projects using Revit and other relevant software.
- Create detailed layouts, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for power, lighting, low-current systems, and other electrical services.
- Coordination and Collaboration:
- Coordinate electrical designs with structural, architectural, and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
- Perform clash detection and resolve design conflicts efficiently.
- Project Deliverables and Documentation:
- Generate detailed documentation, quantity take-offs, and schedules directly from BIM models.
- Ensure all deliverables meet project requirements, client standards, and UAE building codes.
- Quality Assurance and Standards Compliance:
- Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and adherence to established project and industry standards.
- Implement and enforce BIM workflows and best practices.
- Technical Support and Reporting:
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and resolve any BIM-related challenges.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate updates effectively.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education:
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a BIM Modeler focusing on electrical systems.
- Expertise in high-rise building projects and working with engineering consultancies.
- Proven track record in UAE projects, including familiarity with local authority standards and regulations.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for electrical modeling.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, layouts, and detailing for large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of UAE-specific authority approvals and standards (e.g., DEWA, DM, etc.).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder interactions.
- High attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate work under tight deadlines.
- Other Preferences:
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
