Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will lead and manage the electrical design process, ensuring project success through effective team leadership, coordination with suppliers, and providing cost-effective electrical solutions tailored to budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Supervise and guide the drafts team in preparing accurate electrical drawings and documentation.
  • Ensure high-quality design standards and adherence to project timelines.
  • Conduct regular reviews and provide constructive feedback to the drafts team.

Coordination & Communication:

  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and solutions, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with project requirements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for site teams, addressing electrical-related queries via phone, email, or other communication channels.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to align electrical designs with overall project goals.

Technical & Problem-Solving Expertise:

  • Analyze project specifications and propose innovative, budget-friendly electrical solutions.
  • Review and approve electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Identify and resolve on-site issues related to electrical systems, ensuring smooth execution of the project.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of communications, designs, and changes for project documentation.
  • Prepare regular reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions for stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 - 15 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, design tools, and industry standards.
  • Proven experience managing teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions while adhering to project budgets.
  • Familiarity with relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office).
  • Prefer Arabic.
