Job Description:
Ritaj Facility Management is seeking a skilled and hardworking Landscape Technician to join our team in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the landscapes of our clients, ensuring a high-quality appearance and health of outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and pruning.
- Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery as per landscape design plans.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to maintain the health of landscapes.
- Monitor the health of plants and trees and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in landscaping tasks.
- Assist in the installation of hardscape features like pathways, retaining walls, and outdoor lighting.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines during all tasks.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of plants, soils, fertilizers, and irrigation systems.
- Physical fitness to perform outdoor manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Basic understanding of safety measures for handling tools and chemicals.
