Key Responsibilities:

  • Support quality cultural change in the facility aligned with Flowserve values & behaviors.
  • Partner with QC incoming, in-process and final inspection to assure Quality compliance in the site.
  • Work with a proactive approach to assure KPIs compliance. (Non-conformances, Rework, Scrap, First Pass Yield, Escapes, Warranties, Corrective Actions).
  • Support Zero Defect Program and Customer Experience in the site as per Corporate Guidelines.
  • Review customer specifications, approved valve specification and drawings, ensure that latest and properly analyzed documents are transfer to production/painting and implemented.
  • Assure ITP compliance during the project execution, including documentation like test report, CoC, raw material MTC, etc.
  • Facilitate and coach Problem Solving (RCA/CA/PA) for the facility.
  • Build and analyze data coming out from the systems to lead and support Continuous Improvement initiatives around Quality.
  • Define Continuous Improvement projects associated with Cost of Quality.
  • Lead multi-functional teams to set the required Corrective Actions.
  • Support Customer Complaints /escapes problem solving and be able to present results to customer.
  • Partner with Supplier Performance Group to assure suppliers quality and performance.
  • Provide internal trainings as required on Quality topics to different areas.
  • Assure safety rules are followed as a moral authority in the shop floor and within the team

Requirements:

  • Graduate of engineering courses.
  • Completed ISO 9001 Lead auditor training
  • Preferably has NDE Level II and CWI/CSWIP welding certification
  • With at least 2 - 3 years experience in Industrial valve Quality Assurance / Quality Control.
  • With good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiar with industrial standard on valve design, manufacturing and testing. Such as API, ASME, ASTM, ASNT, MSS, FCI, etc.
  • Regular updates on ISO 9001 standards and its elements.
  • Training on all Quality Assurance and QC technologies (Audits, Reliability tests, Surveys, MSA, FMEA, APQP, SPC, PPAP, six sigma, test/inspection and other)
  • QA functions, improvement technologies, Quality Concepts and Quality Tools.
  • Customer satisfaction measurements
  • NDE, welding Inspection and Coating inspection
