Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in mechanical engineering, design, and review for roads and infrastructure projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate should have extensive industry experience, strategic planning capabilities, and a strong network within the region. The role will focus on new client acquisition and expanding business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business growth strategies for roads and infrastructure projects.
- Identify new opportunities and build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and government agencies.
- Lead the bidding process, including proposal preparation and contract negotiations.
- Oversee design and review processes, ensuring compliance with engineering and regulatory standards.
- Actively pursue new client acquisition and business development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business strategies with project execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the industry.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 13+ years of experience in roads and infrastructure projects within the UAE.
- Proven experience in business development, design, and review processes.
- Strong knowledge of local regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet business targets.
- Preference for immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods.
