DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for an experience E&I DRAFTSMAN in Doha-Qatar
Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an E&I Draftsman in the oil & gas industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) is a must.
- Experience with EPLAN, MicroStation, or other drafting software is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of electrical/instrumentation systems, wiring, and control panels.
- Familiarity with international standards (IEC, NEC, ISA, etc.).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualification:
- Previous experience with offshore/onshore oil & gas projects.
- Understanding of hazardous area classification and ATEX/IECEx standards.
- Experience in 3D modeling software (optional, based on project needs).

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and revise electrical and instrumentation (E&I) drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare wiring diagrams, schematics, control panel layouts, cable routing, and loop drawings.
- Create P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), single-line diagrams, and termination drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure accurate designs.
- Interpret and apply relevant industry codes, standards, and specifications.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure drawing revisions are up to date.
- Assist in preparing bill of materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
- Support field teams by providing necessary design clarifications.
