Replace faulty components such as seals, springs, and diaphragm assemblies to restore valves to operational standards.
Calibrate vacuum valves to meet precise specifications, guaranteeing efficiency in various industrial applications.
Document repair processes meticulously, providing clear reports to maintain compliance with safety and operational protocols.
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot system failures, offering insights on potential causes and preventive measures.
Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring readiness for immediate repair needs.
Implement preventive maintenance schedules, proactively addressing potential issues before they escalate into costly repairs.
Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols in valve repair and maintenance.
Stay updated with industry advancements and technologies, integrating new techniques to enhance repair processes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in vacuum valve repair or similar mechanical repair roles.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
Familiarity with vacuum systems and related components is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and repair manuals.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call shifts as needed.
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a mechanical repair environment.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
GCC work experience is must (Sewage Plant)
