Job Title: Backend Senior Developer - Analytics

Job Brief

Are you passionate about data, analytics, and technology? As a Senior SAP BW Consultant, you will play a key role in shaping the analytics strategy. Youll develop and optimize SAP BW and HANA objects to enable advanced analytics with tools like Power BI, Business Objects, and Tableau.

In this role, you will design and implement scalable analytic models, ensure seamless data integration, and create high-quality solutions that empower smarter decision-making. Youll also mentor junior developers and work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful insights that drive business success.

Responsibilities

Develop SAP BW and HANA Solutions:

• Design and develop data models in SAP BW and SAP HANA for analytics and reporting.
• Create and optimize HANA views and SAP BW objects for performance and scalability.

Build and Maintain ETL Data Pipelines:

• Develop efficient ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Ensure data integrity and smooth integration from SAP and other corporate systems.

Collaboration & Integration:

• Work with Functional Consultants to understand business analytics needs.
• Partner with Power BI developers to enable seamless analytics consumption.

Data Quality & Performance Optimization:

• Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and performance within SAP BW and HANA.
• Implement best practices in data modeling, ETL design, and performance tuning.

Standards & Mentorship:

• Develop and enforce standards & guidelines for SAP BW and HANA development.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to enhance their technical skills.

Documentation & Continuous Learning:

• Create technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and user guides.
• Stay updated with SAP BW/HANA innovations and recommend system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BW and HANA development.
• Strong SQL or ABAP programming skills.
• Proficiency in analytics tools: Power BI, Business Objects, Tableau.
• SAP BW/HANA certifications are a plus.
• Experience in Government, Infrastructure, or Oil & Gas sectors is an advantage.
