Our Client is seeking to hire a Sales Manager (Telecommunication)

Reporting to: Group Head Employer Confidential.

Plans, directs and coordinates the sales and marketing of our client telecom and related services, Directs the development of a comprehensive product marketing cycle in a post-development environment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Responsibilities for revenue generation through sales of our clients Telecommunication and other allied products.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

General Planning And Overview:
Independently develop local market for trading of all products under our client and other allied brands for dealer / institutional sales.
Responsible for strategic planning of product lines in order to show positive growth in make share & profitability.
Carry out routine product planning, inventory and other planning in co-ordination with Group Head

Market Management:
Design, implement and evaluate market research utilizing both the sales personnel and external agencies for:
Provide feedback to principal for new / modified product development necessary for this market.
Set price and quantity discount levels for different products
Determine market demand and evaluate sales targets for all areas set in conjunction with the concerned area managers.
Set credit terms for dealers in co-ordination with the Credit Control Department.
Supervise, motivate and develop branch / area managers to achieve goals and targets.
Develop incentive plans for sales staff & dealers.
Set pricing for all products, dealer targets, authorize sales return, etc in conjunction with the concerned branch / area managers.
Evaluate performance and targets of sales staff and dealers with the concerned branch / area managers.

Administration:
Responsibility for profitability of the division (Whole Sale & Retail) Need to have information on over head cost and authority to reduce cost seen as exceeding market norms.
Responsibility for authorizing expenses and petty cash statement as per company policy.
Responsibility for authorizing vacation / leave, etc and sole operational problems in conjunction with the concerned area managers.

Training:
Carry out training in conjunction with the HR department.
Product training for sales staff with the help of the marketing department.
Sales skill training (HR to organize and impart general training / specific sales training by marketing)

Customer Service:
To Mange an adequate customer feedback system through the Customer Care Department.
To solve customer problems by talking corrective action
To maintain customer relations with new and existing customers.
Co-ordinate with the Service department to solve customer / dealer problems not resolved at area managers level.

Performs other duties and instructed by the Group Head.

Competencies:
This position calls for a person possessing strong leadership and team building skills. The person should be a Result Oriented individual, with fluent communication skills in English, and Urdu / Hindi. Knowledge of the Arabic language will be desirable. The job holder should have decision making, business acumen problem solving, organizing, and analytical skills. They should be attentive to details in terms of pricing figures and should possess good IT skills. Coordination or experience in Korean company will be an added advantage.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages Assistant Manager Telecom, Sr. Sales Executives, Sales Executive and Sales Officers of our clients Telecom Division. Indirectly supervises sales promoters and various locations through the sales executive and responsibilities for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of our clients Business Group. Works as a Profit Centre Manager for our clients Telecom division. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:
Graduation (BSc or Engineering in Electronics) with Post Graduation in Marketing Management from a reputed institute or more than 7 years related experience, out of which minimum 2-3 years experience as a Profit Centre Head.

Other Skills: IT Knowledge is essential. Should possess a valid UAE driver''s license.
