What you'll do
:


The Demand Generation Advisory Team (BTP) is responsible for:


  • Oversight of Demand Generation programmes for Business Technology Platform (BTP) for the whole of EMEA. This role will be the lead for MEA North Unit Cluster (Saudi Arabia as major MU).
  • The role involves working with multiple Stakeholders:
    • BTP Sales Director
    • Sales (BTP and Industry AE’s)
    • CBO / Local Management
    • Demand Management Team
    • Marketing
    • Digital Hub
    • CSP’s
  • You will be the go-to-person to track and initiate activities as part of a programmatic approach that support:
    • Increasing pipeline / sales opportunities (e.g. events, campaigns, account based deal clinics, customer workshops etc)
    • Ensuring that sales opportunities get closely tracked
    • Presenting to Exec steering committees on performance of overall pipeline vs budget, specific programmes and return on investment at an opportunity and MU level.
    • Supporting complex sales cycles / commercials


As the Solution Advisor (SA), you will be the go-to person for any solution or product questions within the sales team.

You will leverage your knowledge in specific solutions to support the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to post-sale customer support.


Additionally, you will assist customers in expanding their current SAP footprint.

  • Support the Account Team by delivering solution presentations and events to identify and qualify new opportunities and drive adoption.
  • Evaluate account qualification criteria.
  • Establish yourself as a thought leader within the account team.
  • Transition engagement to implementation partner/ Services teams.
  • Engage with customers to continue selling the vision of SAP solutions.
  • Leverage digital assets throughout the customer engagement.


What you bring:

  • Professional experience with large software/IT organizations, preferably in a solution-specific segment
  • Ability to build programmes and track progress with multiple stakeholders.
  • SAP product experience in BTP highly advantageous.
  • SAP Commercial / Sales experience is highly advantageous.

As an Enterprise Architect, you act as an Advisor to the customer to lead them towards the next step of IT-Services by providing holistic advice and guidance focusing either on an application/solution, an industry, or a technology.


What you bring

Must-have requirements/skills:
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a customer experience role (e.g., Program Manager, Architect, Customer Engagement, Customer Advisory).
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise Business transformation through Application delivery.
  • Experience in end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes.
  • Proven knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, SAP Integration Advisory Methodology, SAP Extensibility Advisory Methodology, SAP Clean Core principles
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills (in English language) at senior manager level both inside an IT team and across business functions.


Nice-to have requirements/skills:

ServiceNow University is empowering individuals in the ServiceNow ecosystem to develop the skills for an AI-driven world. The role of a ServiceNow University (SNU) Skills Consultant oversee customer-skilling programs and ensure effective learning outcomes, maximizing the value of their ServiceNow product investments. SNU Consultants are the GLD education experts and are expected to stay current on all SNU offerings in training resources and services, delivering effective and well-conceived skilling solutions for customers.

The Principal SNU Skills Consultant serves as the regional expert in enabling the sales team to achieve regional learner targets and to support the sales organization to achieve their regional training bookings goals. They are responsible for overseeing the overall training health of Marquee Customers and other key strategic accounts, by oversesing the best SNU adoption and implementation practices.The Principal Consultant collaborates both with customers and internal ServiceNow stakeholders to execute learner targets by addressing the upskilling and talent requirements of those customers.

The team plays a key role in evangelizing and communicating the benefits of ServiceNow University to the different ServiceNow departments and stakeholders so they can ensure that SNU is widely embraced during its launch. The Principal SNU Skills Consultant will also be adept with the pillars of COEI and organizational change management practices to foster successful SNU adoption.

  • Oversee the learner target and development of an assigned region or vertical by collaborating with local account teams and their leaders to promote the SNU platform, content, and overall GLD learning supply chain – assisting them in driving SNU Training Services and achieving their booking goals.
  • The Principal SNU Consultant will be responsible for managing assigned strategic accounts, which necessitate expertise in handling intricate enterprise training agreements and procurement procedures.
  • KPIs are based around learner journey adoption metrics, tracked as active learners within the SNU platform, regional sales support, and demonstrable growth of SN Certified/Credentialled individuals within the allocated regional/accounts ecosystem.
  • Establish SNU presence within the assigned region by attending account team meetings, QBRs and other events.   • Collaborate and strategize with other SNU specialists and business units to develop regional community and talent pipelines, such as SNU delivery partnerships, academic collaborations, and placement partners, to enhance adoption capabilities.
  • Develop and deliver formal training consultations for select ServiceNow customer and partner accounts in collaboration with customer success squads to assist customers in maximizing their training investments. This will include:
  • Conducting account research such as utilizing the ServiceNow platform to generate reports on training and financial data.
  • Advising on the complete ServiceNow University Training catalog and platform portfolio.
  • Providing and monitoring training adoption plans based on customer requirements and introducing new or expanded offerings.
  • The Principal SNU Skills Consultant plays a crucial role within their team and the broader organization. They are responsible for developing, mentoring, coaching, and leading others. They bring extensive experience in specific functional areas or industry expertise. By aligning departmental goals with company objectives, they foster commitment among peers and others.
  • This Principal consultant will maintain strong relationships with Product Management and other departments within GLD, as they will own assigned projects with internal GTM teams to develop scalable strategies and programs that will impact the overall execution of services.
  • Travel up to 10-15% (worldwide) per year for occasional conferences & events.

Qualifications


To be successful in this role you have:

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in selling and implementing ServiceNow training solutions, or similar, is preferred. The candidate should also possess demonstrated skills in Change or Project Management within the context of training program management at an enterprise level.
  • 8-10 years minimum account management, sales or solution consultant experience at an enterprise level
  • Current Certified System Administrator (CSA), other ServiceNow certifications, PMP or ITIL certifications preferred.
  • Consultative sales expertise, with a proven ability to align platform capabilities with client challenges to drive measurable business outcomes with a commitment to professional development & becoming an SNU Expert in the field.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging with C-level decision-makers across industries.
  • Proven experience effectively developing learning proposals/strategies for Enterprise-level organizations.
  • Uses communication skills to negotiate complex matter (e.g.conflicting sources of information or opinions).

The Industry Advisory job family sits within each region and supports the regional industry business to grow sales pipeline and engage with our customers to secure revenue. This job focuses on adopting standardized approaches for value-based sales activities in focus industries and related solutions from SAP and partners. Industry Advisory supports the development of pipeline, build strategies and scale initiatives resulting in increased industry pipeline, revenue, and elevation of SAP’s leadership position in an industry segment in partnership with regional sales and the Virtual Account Team.

The Role

The primary role of the Finance Solution Advisor would be to focus on presenting the value of SAP Finance and Risk Management portfolio. This Solution Advisor would possess advanced/expert-level knowledge of Finance Operations, Financial Planning & Analytics, Accounting & Financial Close, Treasury & Working Capital Management, This advisor would also be able to understand the deep integration and financial experience. In this role, the advisor will be asked to learn Best Run Finance to help position the intelligent enterprise and showcase the value to both the C Suite and Office the CFO.


The Solution Advisor interacts with prospective customers through executive meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow-up discussions. The primary role of the Solution Advisor during an active sales cycle is to gain acceptance from the customer that the SAP solution can solve the customer’s problem and is the right choice over the other competitive offerings. During these cycles they may also take on the role of a Solution/Deal Captain. In addition to deal support, a Presales Senior Specialist collaborates with Sales and Industry Value Engineering teams to plan and execute business development strategies using Design Thinking tools and techniques.

As a specialist in the Finance and Risk Line of Business space, you will focus on one or more of the following areas:


DEAL SUPPORT:

  • Compose and deliver superior sales presentations covering SAP and partner software solutions to prospective customer audiences. The presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences which can include senior company executives.
  • Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations/presentations in support of sales cycles. Preparation includes personalization of materials to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing and compelling customer presentation.
  • In advance of a demonstration or key presentation, conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP solutions and appropriate industries to maintain credibility with prospective customers. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories.
  • Support RFI & RFP completion in support of customer proposals.
  • Ability to effectively present to customers in a virtual environment using virtual technologies (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
  • Provide limited post-sale support to key customers primarily to the project/implementation team to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Able to lead as a Solution Captain when deals require complex solutions across multiple LOBs to support a successful customer presentation or demo.

DEMAND GENERATION:

  • Support one-to-many sales and marketing events both on-site and virtually.
  • Lead & support Design Thinking workshops to promote new and innovative solutions for customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify whitespace opportunities at accounts.


SOLUTION ADVISORY READINESS:

  • Develop close relationships with market unit sales teams to promote effective sales methodologies.
