Technical Account Manager - RHEL Platform (Dubai Office, UAE)

Red Hat's Technical Services team is looking for an experienced, enterprise-level engineer to join us as a Platform Technical Account Manager (TAM) in Dubai, UAE to work with the customers in the GCC. In this role, you'll work with a small set of key customers to provide hands-on technical and architectural guidance for the Red Hat Infrastructure portfolio. At Red Hat, customer support includes far more than just “break-fix” solutions. Technical account management is a premium offering that builds, maintains, and grows long-lasting customer loyalty between Red Hat and our customers. You will forge relationships with your customers, develop a deep technical understanding of their Red Hat implementation, share technical best practices and act as point of contact for any major incidents, managing the customer’s expectations and communications through resolution of such incidents. You will tailor support for each customer's environment, facilitate collaboration with their other vendors and advocate on their behalf. At the same time, you'll work closely with our Engineering, Research and Development, Product Management, and Global Support teams to debug, test, and resolve issues. The ideal TAM is a team player, enjoys working hard, exhibits professionalism, is dedicated to meeting and exceeding expectations, building relationships, has excellent collaboration skills, is able to learn new technologies quickly and uses their time efficiently.

What you will do
  • Develop relationships with key business and IT stakeholders and become an expert on a customer’s implementation by understanding their top business goals and priorities.
  • Perform technical reviews and share knowledge to proactively identify and prevent issues
  • Forewarn customers of technology changes or potential disruptions to their service and advice on mitigation strategies.
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers about their current and future Red Hat products;
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and drive issue escalation with Red Hat and customer teams
  • Complete analysis and present periodic reviews of operational performance to customer leadership
  • Manage customer use cases and maintain clear and concise case documentation
  • Create customer engagement plans and keep the documentation on the customer's environment updated
  • Manage and grow customer relationships by delivering attentive, relationship-based support
  • Build a sense of trust with customers and serve as their advocate within Red Hat

What you will bring
  • 5 years experience in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance organization

Your Impact

You will be the face of marketing in the MENA region. You will work closely with the local commercial teams across sales and partnerships to define a marketing plan to help us capture demand and build our brand. You will be the expert in knowing the target customer in and out, how best to position our solution, and the most effective levers to pull for growth. You’ll work cross-functionally across the marketing team to adapt global programs to suit the needs of your region and implement locally-grown ideas.

A Typical Day

  • Develop strategic marketing plans for MENA to define how we will attract, acquire, and retain valuable customers.
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams (brand, product, operations, growth) to determine how they can best support regional priorities and where we will need to supplement locally.

Your Role

The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for the generation of new sales opportunities in the Middle East and Africa region utilizing Magnet Forensics’ portfolio of products and solutions, servicing Law Enforcement and Government accounts.
What You Will Accomplish

  • Prospect for new clients (predominately law enforcement and government sector) within the assigned regional territory
  • Develop detailed territory plans to drive expansion of customer base
  • Prepare and deliver in market customer face to face presentations
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of customer’s environment, workflow, and how our solution aligns with their needs
  • Act on and qualify incoming leads
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all sales activities in Salesforce
  • Partner engagement to prioritize Magnet products and solutions in their portfolio
  • Research and prioritize industry events in region, combined with creating Magnet hosted event
  • Other duties as assigned

It’s more important to us to find candidates who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experiences they have been a part of, than to find folks who have ‘been there, done that”. Job Description

Being a Presales System Engineer you will have the opportunity to:
  • Assist Lead Engineers with pre-sale design and post-sale implementation technical support on two-way radio and other communications product applications for Motorola Solutions Public Safety Customer accounts.

  • Work with and support teams including Sales, System Integrators, Product Engineers, Program Managers and Senior Systems Engineers to implement wireless communication solutions for voice, data and integrated infrastructure systems.

  • Partner with Systems Engineers on conducting customer needs assessments and analysis, performing RF coverage and interference predictions, designing equipment layouts and antenna configurations, determining RF Link budgets and Telco requirements, performing coverage and operational testing, and the design and configuration of communications networks


Basic Requirements

To be successful as System Engineer Intern you should be/have:
  • Ability to present technical materials to non-technical audiences

  • Good interpersonal and team-work skills

  • Knowledge of RF propagation, wireless, microwave, and/or telecommunications networks a plus

  • Knowledge of communications networks (Ethernet, TCP/IP, MPLS) a plus

This entry-level position is part of the team that focuses on the management,
standardization, appending, and verification of our records. Working on and researching ENR companies as well as matching projects and entities across different data sources. We also work closely with the data analytics team providing them with the data sets in they can use to start training their models so by time the results we get from them are as accurate as possible.

What you will do:


  • You will be extracting data from thousands of documents to gather company information, construction job details, and more. This data will be entered into our database using our proprietary software platform.

  • Put on your detective hat. You will be tasked with searching through various online sources and databases to find and validate firmographic information. This may include company website links, license information, key personnel and contact information, etc.

  • you will be part of the team responsible for maintaining its storage, flow to the proper internal stakeholders, and that it is meeting Procore’s quality standards. This will include updating demographic information in our database through data entry and publishing data records according to internal guidelines.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming fundamentals, Test Driven Development and Design principles
  • Strong experience working on modern applications and frameworks with Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with React/Typescript and PostgreSQL is a plus
  • Experience designing and building software in a service-oriented architecture
  • Time-honed expertise with modern web development across the entire spectrum of development, testing, staging, deploying, and monitoring
  • Experience with development in Docker, AWS, and microservice environments
  • Understanding of the tradeoffs between technical, analytical, performance, and product goals, and adept at formulating solutions that balance all of these needs

Your Experience

  • Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures

  • Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role; prior experience in a pre-sales role is ideal
  • Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements

What you will do
As a Technical Service Manager you will contribute to SAP's global strategy by supporting our customers with their SAP S/4 HANA adoption on their path to the Intelligent Enterprise as part of the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services team. As Technical Service Manager you will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Primary contact for customers for discussions about SAP technology and innovations and serve as an escalation point person for technical issues, service requests and incidents
  • Understand the customer business, goals, and challenges to suggest technical solutions & services
  • Offer comprehensive knowledge on SAP S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology and tools.
  • Understand the SAP high availability or disaster recovery architecture, network and virtual technologies (load-balancer, virtual machine)
  • Identify top issues, define & execute service plan activities and orchestrate implementation of technical action items across customer landscapes

What you need to bring
  • Minimum 8+ years of SAP Technical administration and operations of SAP Solutions (preferably in the domain of SAP Basis)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer facing role
  • Hands on experience and working knowledge of Unix/Linux flavors, SAP HANA and Sybase data bases.
  • Experience in de-escalating critical situations.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory. Fluency in Portuguese and French are highly appreciated.
  • Solid know-how on SAP Technologies and Products (SAP certification highly beneficial),

The Prisma Cloud Solutions Architect is our authority in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud (GCP) and other public cloud environments. You are the “go to” resource for customer interactions that exceed standard systems engineering support requirements.

Your Impact

  • Present and position the Prisma Cloud platform’s benefits and unique differentiators to customers at all levels in the customer including engineering team members whether they be in the security team, DevOps, application developers, cloud infrastructure owners or the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) team or the CISO, CTO or CIO
  • Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape in respect to cloud native deployments
  • Discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace and position ours as the best alternative
  • Lead and support customer demonstrations that showcase our unique value ultimately proving value as early as possible in the sales lifecycle
  • Help customers adopt the Prisma Cloud platform, a cloud security offering from Palo Alto Networks
  • Be the technical voice of sales for all things related to security and compliance in cloud native applications deployment on premises or in the Public Cloud (Alicloud, AWS, Azure, Oracle and GCP)
  • Be an evangelist and importantly a Trusted Advisor to customers helping them to further bring Security, DevOps, and SecOps together (DevSecOps)
  • Write code/scripts as needed or be able to learn if you don’t
  • Run Proof-of-Value (POVs) to ensure the customers’ requirements are met in alignment with their vision of success and exceeded where possible thanks to Prisma Cloud’s Cloud-Native Security Platform
  • Work with product management, customer success, technical marketing and R&D to build requirements,product features and technical solutions for our customers and provide feedback from customers as well as delivering product future insights for customers
  • Provide design consultation and standard methodology mentorship for rollout, implementation, and policy conversion during the pre-sales process for strategic opportunities
  • Assist the Channel Systems Engineers with partner enablement and lead generation activities
  • Help develop relationships with Born-in-Cloud (BiC) partners who will are essential when working with our transformative customers
  • Work with Prisma Cloud Technical Sales Managers to build strategic technical short term & long term plans for their target identified accounts
  • Develop methods to acquire new customers and nurture existing customers expanding and transforming with Prisma Cloud

Qualifications


Your Experience

  • 3+ years experience in a customer facing role in solution architecture or pre-sales
  • Proven hands-on experience of public cloud, containers (Kubernetes preferred), DevOps
  • Demonstrable experience in securing applications deployed using cloud native compute and deployment services - Helping customers achieve industry and regulatory compliance in addition to some experience of implementing standards such as the NIST 800-190, CIS Benchmarks for Kubernetes, Docker and Linux - CIS benchmarks for AWS, Azure, GCP including GKE are also desired as well as NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, NIST CSF and SOC
  • Experience of building or at least modifying container orchestrator YAML deployments
  • Experience of working with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) solutions such as Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templates is desirable
  • Experience of working with customers, demonstrating strong communication and problem solving skills
