In order to undertake this role effectively the successful candidate will require extensive in-depth knowledge of international accounting including IAS 39, fair value hedge and hedge effectiveness. Previous experience in an Islamic financial institution and/or exposure to a wide range of Shariah compliant investment products is highly preferable.
