Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support the Resource Deployment Manager to deploy the right mix and profile of Examiners, Venue Supervisors and Venue Staff for Test Day delivery using BoSS and other systems. This role will support recruitment and management of Examiners (incl IELTS & Schools). The pool will participate in bulk recruitment of Venue Staff and ensure appropriate level of recruitment for Venue Supervisors to put through short lists for Operations Managers to select.

Main Accountabilities

Service delivery

  • Maintaining up to date database of all venue staff (contact details, training, performance)
  • Supporting the effective implementation of Back Office Scheduling System & Clock in Clock out across all exams products

·To carry out survey works in accordance with the surveying standards and specifications relevant to the Department, (including the spatial reference system,geodetic control network (surveying stations network), geodetic survey points,profession norms and any other decisions of the Department

· To be familiar with all surveying standards issued under the Municipal Affairs No. (119) of 2017 in relation to the Executive Regulation for the Regulation of Survey Works in emirate of Abu Dhabi or any other surveying standard issued by the Department.

· Experience in boundary, route, volumetric, topographic, and subsurface utility engineering projects

· Analysing data using plans, maps, charts and computer applications such as CAD and GIS

· Producing and / or advising about construction plans and drawings

· Provide field survey and layouts in an accurate and timely manner.

· Set control points based on benchmark s provided by contract drawings.

· Assists with planning, organizing, and coordinating various surveying scopes of work including special assignments as required.

· Takes clear accurate notes and note reduction by recording survey measurements, descriptive data, drawings, and sketches.

· Inspects work to ensure that survey work is conducted in conformance with applicable standards.

· Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the project's contract, specifications, schedule, and budget as it relates to survey.

· Extensive knowledge of surveying with related Experience in operation of a level, total station, data collectors, and GPS survey equipment as required

· Familiarity with GPS systems, machine control systems, and late model survey equipment.

· Proficient in Micro Station, MS Excel, Terramodel, GPS, and 3D Modelling Software preferred

· Verifying as built information from execution contractors

· Determines methods and procedures for establishing or re-establishing survey control

· Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed

· Coordinates findings with work of engineering personnel, clients, and others concerned with project

· Check setting-out and levels. Check services locations and ensure their protection.

· Supervise other Surveyors on site.

· Observe site safety procedures.

· Measure work done when required.

· Assist in the preparation of 'as-built' drawings.

· To assume liability for his own work and technical errors contained in survey reports prepared.

Qualification:

Bachelor in Civil Engineering from a reputed University

Equivalence certificate is mandatory

ADM - Registered license Surveyor is mandatory
