Role Outline:

As the Construction Project Manager (Dams), you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Large dam construction projects, from planning and execution to successful completion.

This position specifically requires expertise in large dam construction projects (budget range more than 500 Million USD), as well as 20 - 25 years of senior Construction management experience (Mainly Water infrastructure)

ANYONE WITHOUT DAM EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR A CONTRACTOR WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

The successful candidate will possess a Civil Engineering degree, a minimum of 20 years of overall construction experience, and a track record of at least 10 years in a senior construction project management role within Dams and reservoir construction (Contractor side - not consultant).

Duties and responsibilities:

  • On the ground Construction management for the contractor Company on site, dealing with the Employers official representatives and third parties
  • Managing the works, by carrying out the Head Offices instructions, in accordance with the contract, and within the limits of his powers, as set by the Board of Directors
  • Setting-up all site activities, ensuring the preparation of the operating plan with the required resources and its implementation, to reach the objectives defined by the conditions, the specifications and the requirements of the contract
  • Guaranteeing that the technical and administrative services support the production department

Candidate essential Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 20 years of overall experience in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale dam or lake liner projects.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in a Senior construction manager or Project Director or similar leadership role.
  • At least 5 years experience in large dam construction projects is mandatory (500 million USD projects).

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

    • Must have at least 2-3 years working experience in UAE or GCC
    • Basic understanding of safety protocols
    • With Good Work experience, Workmanship and Communication
    • Must be Physically fit with Good physical condition and endurance
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks
    • UAE Driving License would be an additional benefit
