Job Descriptions

We are currently seeking a qualified freelance Safety Officer for a three months project. This is a temporary opportunity to contribute to ensuring the safety and well-being of the employees during the duration of the project.

Location: Abu Dhabi and Fujairah

Duration: 3 Months

Responsibilities:

• Implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Provide HSE training and education to employees at all levels of the organization, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent reoccurrence.
• Lead emergency response and crisis management efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external resources to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel and property.
• Champion a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization, fostering awareness and accountability among employees.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) mandatory
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience developing and implementing HSE policies, procedures, and training programs.
