Medacs Healthcare currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Acute Care Unit Nurse to work with a renowned, multi-specialty hospital based in Abu Dhabi which is a part of a large medical group in the UAE. The role requires recent experience with either Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology or Transplant patients.
The facilities at the hospital combine state-of-the-art amenities and world-class service standards. The hospital is a 364-bed facility, with five clinical floors, three diagnostic and treatment levels, and 13 floors of critical and acute inpatient units.

• Conduct the TRA meetings with client and project management team and contribute in identifying, assessing and mitigating the risks to appropriate level, as per standard HSE norms.

• Review project schedule including material and manpower planning as well as for sufficient and adequate resources such as manpower, materials, equipments for the project and make changes / modification, if required to achive timely delivery of the projects

• Make site visits for planning execution of works with site team as required.

• Carryout the project execution at onshore/offshore installations as per company requirements.

• Ensure contractors valid security passes, manpower and equipment certification prior mobilization to site.

• Arrange and Follow up with contractors manpower & equipment demobilization.

• Review and offer contractors bills for payments.

• Provide support to project team for budget allocation and expenditure and related issues as identified during the different phases of the execution stage.

• Ensure execution compliance with the schedules, budget and contract obligations and report deviations and constrains.

• Feedback to team members for improvement of work methodology.

• Liaise / follow up with contractors to expedite, material & resources delivery inline with planned schedules in order to meet execution plan.

AC TECHNICIAN

  • Plans, monitors, installs and adjusts the full range of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment by means of an energy management system hands-on work
  • Troubleshoots, maintains, modifies and repairs heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems and equipment including, reciprocating chillers, 225ton and 190 ton rotary screw chillers, heat exchangers, fans and fan motors, pumps and pump motors, electric and pneumatic controls, and associated safety, over current and other equipment protection devices ensuring that they operate at peak efficiency and conserve energy usage
  • Performs installation of mechanical systems to include piping and modifications to existing facility’s cooling systems
  • Utilizes and updates blueprints, technical manuals, manufacturer’s files and other record keeping
  • Monitors work done by outside contractors for adherence to state and federal code requirements and report back to supervisor
  • Perform any and all duties which may be assigned
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on packaged units, split coil systems, air compressors, pumps, air handlers, air cooled condensers, reciprocating chillers, 250 ton centrifugal and 190 ton rotary screw chillers, and various heat exchangers
  • Must perform duties and responsibilities of a Journeyman level mechanic with strong a background in HVAC and refrigeration equipment to include hands on experience in operating and troubleshooting industrial systems
