ICU nurse - Abu Dhabi, UAE

Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting for ICU nurses (strong experience with cardiac, neuro, OR transplant cases within ICU) for a very well established hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The hospital is a 364 (expandable to 490) bed facility, with five clinical floors, three diagnostic and treatment levels, and 13 floors of critical and acute inpatient units.

Candidates are required to have minimum of two years of recent experience in relevant wards managing complex cases.

Contract Specialist

Job description

  • Perform contractual reviews of contracts received as part of Proposals, including NDAs, MOUs, JV Agreements, Subcontract agreements, Fee Agreements, and Purchase Orders.
  • Draft NDAs, MOUs, Subcontract agreements, Fee Agreements, and Purchase Orders for ILF agreements with subcontractors/vendors.
  • Approach suitable companies and seek to enter frame arrangements.
  • Ensure conformity between proposals and awarded contracts.
  • Maintain contract registry and archiving, ensuring secure storage of original contracts.
  • Coordinate activities with other department members and compile changes for Client approval in collaboration with project teams.
  • Comply with ILF Policies and implement ILF contract administration procedures.
  • Attend internal and/or external meetings as necessary.


Qualification

  • Min. 10 years varied contracts development & administration functions (both pre and post award) in engineering sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, law, supply chain or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proactive with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimum supervision.
  • Reliable and detail-oriented.
  • Professional and pleasant personality, with good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in drafting contractual provisions and contract variations/amendments.
  • Strong letter writing skills.
  • FIDIC certification and experience is preferable.
  • Middle East experience will be an advantage.

Plate Mounter

Plate Mounting:

  • Prepare and mount flexographic plates onto cylinders or sleeves according to job

  • Ensure accurate alignment and registration of plates using specialized mounting
    equipment.
  • Conduct quality checks on mounted plates to ensure there are no defects, such as
    misalignment, bubbles, or damage, that could affect print quality

Plate & Anilox Cleaning

  • Clean plates after use, ensuring they are free from ink, debris, and any potential
    contaminants before storage or reuse.
  • Perform routine cleaning of anilox rollers to maintain ink transfer quality and prevent buildup.
  • Utilize proper cleaning methods and chemicals to ensure the longevity and performance of plates and anilox rollers.

Plate Storage & Management:

  • Organize and store plates systematically in designated areas to ensure easy access and
    reuse.
  • Maintain an updated and accurate inventory of all plates, including the condition, usage
    history, and location.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage conditions to prevent plate damage or deterioration.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain detailed records of all plate mounting activities, including job specifications, plate
    alignment, and any issues encountered.
  • Keep comprehensive records of plate cleaning schedules, anilox roller maintenance, and
    any repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure that all records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for auditing and
    review

Anilox Roller Management

  • Monitor the condition of anilox rollers, identifying and documenting any wear or damage.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for regular inspections and refurbishing of anilox
    rollers as needed.
  • Maintain records of anilox roller specifications, including cell volume, line screen, and
    engraving type.

Safety & Equipment Maintenance:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols for handling plates, anilox rollers, and cleaning chemicals.
  • Ensure that all plate mounting and cleaning equipment is properly maintained and in good
    working condition.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Pre-Press Supervisor
    promptly.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with the pre-press and production teams to ensure that all plates and anilox
    rollers are prepared and available for scheduled print runs.
  • Communicate any issues related to plate quality, mounting, or anilox roller performance to
    the relevant departments.

We are looking for a Department Manager Strategic Planning (E1) for a Construction Consulting Firm based in KSA.
Location Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah or Qassim, KSA

Requirements:
• Bachelor / Master of Engineering or Urban Planning from an accredited Western university.
• Minimum 20 years experience in the related field on national/international major initiatives and developments. A record of close engagement with utility providers and wider commercial and public cluster stakeholders.
• Expert in major development master and urban planning preferably at national levels. Thorough knowledge of urban and infrastructure planning disciplines.
• Expert in the development of water and wastewater master plans.
• Extensive experience of working internationally (preference for Middle East / KSA). Preferable cultural understanding of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Adopting and implementing Client s PMM and EXPROs Five-Year Projects.
• Portfolio Planning (5 YPPP) processes and methodologies.
• Project registration and managing initial stages of the Stage-Gate process.
• Review and update the National Guideline for the Master Planning.
• Manage the development of the National Master Plan.
• Review Clusters Master Plan.
• Review and approve the Capital Investment Plan (CIP) that the Local Master Plan identifies.
• Ensure that all projects identified within the CIP contribute toward achieving the KPIs.
• Review and approve the project's business cases.
• Ensure all projects are aligned with the requirements of the Master Plan.
• Supporting the cluster to prepare/update the 5YPPP periodically.
• Prioritize projects within the 5 YPPP based on the approved criteria.
• Update and finalize the 5YPPP based on the comment from the EXPRO team.
• Work with other client departments to develop the capital expenditure for their specialized program.
• Supporting the Client in coordinating with external governmental departments such as municipalities to ensure the alignment of their projects with their expansion plans.
• Working with the supply and demand committee to update their plan regularly.
• Monitor the implementation of the regional Master Plans and their identified CIPs.
• Assessing the capability of the Client s existing department staff and recommending appropriate roles and responsibilities.
• Integrate client s assets GIS data in one database platform.
• Preparing the Strategic Planning department knowledge transfer program, which includes comprehensive onthe-job learning.
• Working with the Client to coordinate the water and wastewater service with the main developers.
• Draft agreements and MOUs to provide services for the developers.
• Coordinate with the regional clusters to ensure the timely execution of agreements and relevant projects.
• Attend coordination meetings with the main developers.
• Review mega project requirements for water and wastewater service and ensure these requirements are included within the master plans.
• Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures within the company and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by the company.

Project Manager - Urban Water & Water Treatment

Job description

  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Project Planning and Coordination:
1. Lead project planning efforts, including scope definition, resource allocation, and schedule development.
2. Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, sub- contractors, and regulatory agencies, to establish project objectives and deliverables.

  • Client Communication and Relationship Management:

1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
2. Foster positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance satisfaction and promote repeat business opportunities.

  • Design and Engineering Management:

1. Oversee the design process for infrastructure networks and pump stations, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, industry standards, and client requirements. – Construction Management:
1. Manage the construction phase of projects, including bid solicitation, contractor selection, and contract administration.
2. Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety performance to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

  • Budget and Cost Control:

1. Develop project budgets and financial forecasts, tracking expenditures and managing project costs to meet budget targets. Identify and address cost-saving opportunities and budget variances proactively.
2. Schedule and Resource Management.
3. Develop project schedules and resource plans, assigning tasks and responsibilities to project team members.
4. Monitor schedule adherence and resource utilization, identifying and mitigating risks to project timelines.


Qualification

  • Having strong background in Civil Engineering to lead our team in the planning, design, and construction of water related infrastructure, i.e. water and wastewater networks (gravity and pressurized), water retaining structures, STPs, and pump stations.
  • Have Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Have 10-15 years of experience at least last 5 years in project management, preferably related to planning, design, and construction of water related infrastructure, i.e. water and wastewater networks (gravity and pressurized), water retaining structures, STPs, and pump stations.
  • Have proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Have strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
  • Have experience working with government agencies, utilities, and public/private stakeholders is desirable.
  • Flexibility to travel to project sites and attend meetings as required.
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Have ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Procurement Manager - EPCM/PMC

Job description

  • Be engaged in EPCM or PMC Contracts as a lead function for the set-up and delivery of project procurement services.
  • Prepare project-tailored procurement strategies and cooperate with the Proposal and/or Project Teams in their effective presentations to Clients.
  • During the proposal stages, define the Procurement team necessary to deliver project procurement requirements by estimating the efforts required and determining the staff required (number, experience, qualifications, tasks and responsibilities).
  • Prepare reliable procurement related document list and procurement schedules, on the basis of acquired experience, which will make part of the Project Master Document Register and Schedule.
  • Contribute to the definition of project procurement budget in accordance to the level of project definition and periodically update the same in the relevant procurement reports.
  • Lead Project procurement services including (i) tender management; prequalification, preparation of tender documents, tender clarification and evaluation, negotiation and award, (ii) post award vendor management including coordination with engineering and construction team, logistics, expediting and delivery management.
  • Develop procurement management and administration procedures and maintain an overview of practices to ensure compliance.
  • Identify suitable training for procurement personnel, establish achievable KPIs for each member of the team.
  • Support the Business Development Team to source suitable vendors and oversee Vendor database on ILF’s SharePoint portal.
  • Engage with Finance discipline to ensure obligations w.r.t insurance and guarantees are properly assessed.
  • Support internal disciplines and external clients by providing guidance on procurement matters.
  • Safeguard our clients by collaborating with project teams through an “early-warning” system to identify potential claims, propose strategies to mitigate/negate claims, be actively involved in meetings.
  • Manage different types of Contracts including Lump Sum, Cost Plus, Time and Material, Unit Pricing, etc.
  • In collaboration with the project teams, compile changes (variations/amendments and the like) for Client approval.
  • Familiar with the EPC Cost Estimation (CAPEX) process in accordance with AACE International standards.
  • Prepare the relevant Job Descriptions to hire the resources who are not available and cooperate with the HR team for interviewing and staffing.

THE POST

Aldar Education are currently seeking an outstanding Teacher of Year 5 for the Middle School at Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing in the 2025-2026 academic year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is a very specific primary role that feeds into our Middle School which allows for a supportive transition from the Primary to Secondary model. Our Year 5 team all have a home room class, but also specialise in a core subject area that they teach to all of Year 5. This allows our students to transition into having different teachers, while also enabling teachers to specialise in an area they feel most confident in. This role is for a primary teacher who would like to specialise in either English, Maths or Science with a Year 5 cohort.

Job Description: Hatta Pumped Storage Hydro Power Plant - Heavy Machinery Mechanic.

Responsibilities:

  • Extensive experience with heavy-duty equipment and proficiency in working with auto engines for trucks like Mercedes, Caterpillar, etc.
  • Equipment in our fleet: dozer, tipper truck, excavator, backhoe loader, etc.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of heavy-duty equipment including dozers, tipper trucks, excavators, backhoe loaders, and other machinery.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the equipment.
  • Repair and overhaul diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and other critical systems.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment to analyze problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain detailed records of all repairs, services, and parts used to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements in equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to operators on the safe and efficient use of the machinery.

We are seeking skilled Pipe Fitters with expertise in sewerage and rainwater infrastructure. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems essential for large-scale infrastructure projects across Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, and maintain piping systems for sewerage and rainwater infrastructure in line with project specifications and standards.
  • Ensure precise alignment and fitting of pipes for both underground and surface systems.
  • Perform various pipe work including connections, jointing, cutting, bending, and welding for different pipe sizes and materials.
  • Conduct pressure testing and inspections to detect and address leaks or defects.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and project requirements for installations.
  • Collaborate closely with foremen and team members to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of pipe fitting experience in Dubai, specifically in sewerage, irrigation and rainwater systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting piping drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Skilled in using pipe fitting tools and equipment, including cutting, bending, welding, and threading.
  • Familiarity with GRP, GRE, HDPE, PVC, and other materials used in underground projects.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to pipe installation and maintenance.
  • Physical ability to work in challenging environments, including excavation sites.
  • Valid UAE driver’s license preferred.

  • Provide consultancy services for ILF Abu Dhabi as QA/QC Engineer at KIII Simple Cycle Power Plant.
  • Manage and oversee power plant QA/QC activities and supervise the EPCM Contractor’s construction activities.
  • Coordinate with the Client, Contractors, and ILF back office for the works under your responsibilities.
  • Participate in required meetings and work under the Project Manager’s direction at the site.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on construction activities related to QA/QC scope.
  • Set policies, strategies, and objectives for project completion and implementation.
  • Maintain the corporate organization and Quality Management System for the project.
  • Ensure EPCM Contractor’s awareness and compliance with quality requirements.
  • Direct the activities of the quality team and attend audits, inspections, and third-party inspections.

Qualification
