Acted Syria

Since 2012, Acted has been implementing projects with vulnerable communities in Syria with a two-fold approach: Acted provides life-saving support to vulnerable displaced persons, returnees, and host communities across Syria, through multi-sectorial rapid emergency services, and implements a wide range of resilience building interventions. Under the authority of the Country Finance Manager, the Finance Volunteer (FV) will be in charge of supporting the Country Finance Team on the financial internal control of the mission. More specifically, she/he will be in charge of the reviewing and cross-checking accounting data and financial management and control tools’ data.

2. Control of Monthly Internal Reporting tools

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks, or tractors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Selected candidates must be a US Citizen.
  • 6+ years of qualified automotive maintenance experience.
  • Qualified mechanical experience includes one or more of the following: light or heavy-duty trucks, tractors, tactical vehicles, aviation ground support systems, generators, power plants, aircraft or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicle.
