Main Responsibilities

1) Oversee the implementation of operational procedures, policies, and standards to enhance efficiency and report to Manager and Management

  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful strategies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English is preferred.

  • Strong experience in sales orders, pricing, delivery, shipping, invoicing, credit management, and revenue recognition.

ABOUT ROLE

MEP / HVAC Technician is a critical technician & supervisor position with wider responsibilities. He/she will have the responsibility of end-to-end activities involved in the project which includes & not limited to requirement gathering, project planning, project execution, communication, documentation & site supervising.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirement Gathering & Client Service:

  • Good knowledge on the authority requirements, interior design, fit out (Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC & Joinery Works) keeping MEP works key
  • Good command on reading & reviewing engineering/CAD drawings
  • Identify the work force requirement for the project
  • Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of gangs/site operatives
  • Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements
  • Organize and monitor the work of subcontractors on site
  • Risk identification & reporting
  • Get project completion certificate signed by client
  • Customer relationship management (Technical Side)
  • Managing end to end operations activities (Site visit to work completion)

Project Planning, Project Execution & Work Coordination:

  • Responsible for all type of HVAC & related MEP works at the sites
  • Installation of HVAC Services like chillers, CHW pumps, FAHUs, FCUs, Ventilation Fans, DX-systems window, split & package AC’s
  • Testing and Commissioning of HVAC Services
  • Maintenance of HVAC services & providing technical directions
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
  • Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
  • Identification of the right work force to execute the project (Internal Team/External Suppliers)
  • Communicate & get confirmation of project scope & price from Supplier (Get formal quote)
  • Communicate & get confirmation of the work force availability & schedule
  • Coordinate the work with Client & Work Force (Internal Team/External Supplier)
  • Complete all the document works required (E.g. Risk Assessment Form & Method Statement)
  • Arrange all the necessary pre-requisites for the project (Site Permissions)
  • Ensure all the communications and agreements with Supplier & Client are formal
  • Main priority is safety & responsibility to motivate the workers to do the work in disciplined way
  • Ensure the adequate quality is maintained in every stage of the work
  • Ensure the site is clean and safe (Maintain proper housekeeping)
  • Manage the work progress without scope creep & report the progress on a regular basis
  • Manage the project & work site as per the standards until sign-off from the Client

Site Supervising:

  • Responsibility HVAC, related MEP works and Overall Site Activities
  • Main priority is safety & responsibility to motivate the workers to do the work in disciplined way
  • Provide daily safety instructions to the workers
  • Assessing various safety hazards & report them to concerned person/team
  • Responsible for arranging the necessary permissions to perform the job at the site
  • Make sure HSE/legal/client rules & regulations are followed
  • Make sure the adequate quality is maintained in every stage of the work
  • Make sure the site is clean and safe (Maintain proper housekeeping)
  • Manage the work progress without scope creep & report the progress on a regular basis
  • Manage the project & work site as per the standards until sign-off from the Client

Procurement Management:

  • Identifying right suppliers for materials with quality & necessary warranty
  • Process initiation & control of Procurement activities

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Essential qualifications:

  • HVAC Technician with (ITI / diploma / engineering or equivalent)
  • 2 to 7 years of experience as MEP / HVAC Technician in Interior Design / Fit Out / Technical Services / Electromechanical Companies

Key competencies:

  • Solid knowledge in the MEP / HVAC along with Site Management
  • Hands on experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience in using computers, internet, search engines like google.
  • Good communication & good understanding on the Business Activities
