Project Manager Operations

Looking for a Project Manager to manage nonferrous metal scrap recycling plants located at
different countries. He will be responsible for managing all green field projects of MIJ group
along with will handle all technical improvement of existing plants.


1. First-class BE/B.Tech. degree, preferably in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering,

from a renowned university.

2. 10 to 15 years of experience in handling projects to install plants for recycling of

Lead, Copper, Brass and Other non-ferrous metal.

3. Sound knowledge of various types of existing Smelting and Melting Furnace such

as Rotary Furnace, FRHC Furnace, Reverberatory Furnace etc. Also should be

updated about upcoming technological changes in the metal recycling industry.

4. In-depth knowledge of designing and fabrication of various types of Air pollution

treatment systems required for different types of Furnaces.

5. Sound technical knowledge about wastewater treatment technology for nonferrous

metal recycling and plastic recycling plants.

6. Excellent knowledge about smelting and refining processes for Lead and Copper

along with process cost, yields, recoveries, productivity etc.

7. Familiarity with analytical equipment such as Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES)

and X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) for metal analysis.

8. Should be able to use various CAD software for preparing and understanding plant

and machinery layouts.

9. Extensive Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations,

along with hands-on experience in implementing EHS policies. Should be able to

conduct various types of impact assessments studies as per prevailing regulations.

10. Excellent project management skills required. Any project management

certification will be an added advantage.

11.Should have experience to lead at least 2 to 3 Green Field projects related to metal

scrap recycling having significant processing capacity.

12. Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts, secure partnerships, and manage

vendor relationships for equipment procurement. Sound knowledge of machinery

valuation, and experience in sourcing various types of plant and equipment as

required for project.

13.Should be able to conduct market study and prepare project feasibility studies.

14. Experience of understanding rules and regulations regarding recycling factories

worldwide and able to make sure project adept according to these rules along with

getting necessary approval for the project implementation.

15.Should be very good at project costing, valuation, budgeting, and other commercial

aspects of project.

16.Skill in preparing comprehensive progress reports, project updates, and

presentations for stakeholders, including executives and board members.

17.Able to travel and stay at different sites as per the requirement of project.

Role Purpose
The Accountant will be responsible for supporting the end to end accounting process in the country; including month and year end close, and ensures consistent, accurate and robust financial accounting processes in line with accounting practices and corporate policies.
