Summary

The Manager, Human Resources, plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing human

Job requirements

Experience, skills, and qualifications

  • Degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in human resources management, preferably in an

international organisation or multi-cultural environment.

  • Strong understanding of human resources principles, practices, and labour law.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is a must (other languages are considered an asset).
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,

Outlook) and experience with database management.

  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop strategic initiatives based on findings.

Summary of employment

Terms and conditions

The WSB offers a range of tangible and intangible working benefits. This is a full-time position with

a contract of three years with an option to extend the contract subject to agreement by both

parties.

  • Salary paid on monthly will be appropriate to the role.
  • Position is based in the Arab Support Centre in Cairo, Egypt.
  • Contractual hours of work are a minimum of 40 hours per week, Sunday through Thursday,

but additional hours may be required for the effective performance of the role for which

there will be no additional remuneration. The successful candidate must be willing to work
in the evenings and on weekends, when necessary.

  • Holiday entitlement is 21 days per annum plus public holidays in the country where the

position is based.

  • WSB has a medical plan – full details will be provided on employment.

The offer of internship appointment will be subject to:

  • Three satisfactory references
  • Verification of relevant qualifications
  • Confirmation of eligibility to work in the Arab Support Centre (or the ability to obtain the

appropriate work permits, at the WSB’s expense).

  • Satisfactory completion of the probation period (three months).

  • 15 years' experience in process engineering discipline with at least 10 years in Oil & Gas projects and/or operations.
  • FEED and EPC detailed design experience with LNG facilities process and utility systems (including combined cycle power plant, WHRUs, water desalination, cooling towers and wastewater treatment).
  • Demonstrated ability and sensitivity to work with people from variety of cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong technical, prioritization and management skills.
  • Computer literate, proficiency in MS Office and some technical applications. Strong understanding of process simulation software (Hysis, Pro/II).

Responsibilities

  • Be an HSSE ambassador. Ensures that HSSE procedures are adhered to, and proactively strive for good HSSE and quality performance throughout the work.

Required expertise

  • Minimum certification to CSWIP 3.1. Relevant engineering degree, proficiency and certification to NDE methods.
  • Relevant experience from similar positions in other oil & gas projects may make up for formal education.

    Job Brief:

    Shuraa is seeking a dynamic Tax Accountant for the Shuraa Tax & Accounting team. The ideal person should be qualified in accounting/finance and must have knowledge of UAE VAT and tax. The objective of the role is to manage monthly accounting and bookkeeping.


    Job responsibilities:

    • Preparation of VAT returns, refund applications.
    • MIS reporting.
    • Issuance reports on time regularly.
    • Handling clients meeting, follow up.
    • Regular review of system and improvements.

    Job Requirements:

    • Qualification: Bachelor of Commerce in Account & Finance.
    • Experience in Tally Accounting Software.
    • Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and local laws.
    • Strong communication, analytical and management skills.
    • Available for an immediate start.
