opening of a Post Doc position in the field of Artificial Intelligence for cognitive Radars.

The Post Doc research includes the following topics: Multiagent Intelligent Systems, Machine Learning , Drones

Tracking and Detection via Radars and auxiliary sensors.

The details of the position are as follows:

Position: Post Doc (Ph.D. holder)

Duration: 1 year renewable.

Context: Thales/SCAI Chair of Excellence

Duties and Responsibilities:

1- Assist in supervising PhD students.

2- Assist in conducting research projects within Thales areas of interest that are related to investigating the

applications of multi-agent systems, machine learning, and AI in drone detection and tracking.

3- Assist in supervising internship students.

4- Assist in writing proposals and publications.

5- Assist in working in projects/ grants that SCAI may acquire either with internal or external parties.

6- Conduct any duties or tasks assigned by the PI or the Senior Scientist of the Chair.

Qualifications and Experience:

1- A PhD in computer science, engineering, or related field is required.

2- Must be specialized in machine learning and multiagent systems. Highly recommended to have knowledge

in deep learning, reinforcement learning, and generative models.

3- It will be a big plus having knowledge in radars, drones, stochastic systems, and estimation theory.

4- Must be a graduate from an internationally recognized University.

5- High skills in English language speaking, writing, and reading are a must.

6- Must have accepted or published articles in specialized conferences or journals during the PhD.

7- Proficiency in AI related programming languages such Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow

General Notes:

1- The Post doc reports to the PI and the senior scientist of the project.

2- The duration of the Postdoc position is one year.

3- The position is a full-time position, and the venue is at SCAI-SUAD, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

4- Administratively, the Postdoc will be a SCAI staff and an employee at SUAD. Any other details regarding

the employment will be provided by the HR of SUAD before signing the contract.

Requirements

- BSc Civil Engineering

- Must have contracting background with reputable tier 1 company

- 20+ Years of experience into handling roads and infrastructure projects

Job Summary

Roles and responsibilities include providing commercial, legal and practical advice to Division Managers and Project Management teams within the businesses.



Further responsibilities include:

- Monitor, supervise and ensure the compliance with project related contracts

- Draft contractual correspondence and other legal documents related to project execution and the contract, in collaboration with legal team and senior management

- Provide support in the review of correspondence from clients/suppliers/subcontractors and draft responses to proposals, bids, contract variation requests and claims

Quality Executive - 9 months contract - May be extended

Provides effective and efficient quality assurance systems support to the Quality Lead-Gulf, including supporting the implementation and maintenance of the QMS and as directed by the Quality Lead-Gulf, performs the day to day work to ensure that the quality systems required by the Gulf element of the Supply Chain and Marketing Company Gulf are performed in a lean and efficient way and meet the compliance standards of the QMS and the local Regulator(s).

    • Risk Management - perform activities to support the risk management process to ensure effective management, timely reporting, review and escalation of quality risks.
    • Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) - Implement global or local process to effectively manage corrective and preventative action plans. Develop local processes to conduct root cause analysis to investigate deviations and develop CAPA’s. Local process in place to track and review CAPA plans on routine basis. Demonstrate that Gulf effectively identifies where CAPA plans required and that they are effectively implemented, monitored and closed out.
    • Auditing - perform day to day work to support the local process that is in place for MM and IBM auditing. Work with the Quality Lead-Gulf to ensure:
