Reporting directly into the Managing Director, you will have full accountability for the division.
Responsibilities
Executing and managing of infrastructure construction contracts across multiple locations in Sultanate of Oman.
- Project planning and monitoring, procurement planning, liaison with consultants and clients
- Planning and monitoring the works programs with resources output, cost, and Cash Flow of the Project.
- Executing total highways and structured activities.
- Adroit in planning, executing & spearheading projects involving development, contract administration, resource planning with a flair for adopting modern methodologies in compliance to quality standards.& Time
- Deft in swiftly ramping up projects in close coordination with contractors, consultants, concessionaire (SPV), and other external agencies, ensuring on-time deliverables.
- Excellent relationship management, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Project Management
Supervising project activities and handling the complete project management cycle entailing requirement gathering and final execution of projects. Finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with engineering consultants/ collaborators, external suppliers, clients.
Controlling the project cost within the budget and monitoring of Cash Flow - Cost Control.
Preparing Programme of work for all projects and directing the Executing team to finish the project in time & trouble shooting problems and giving strength to the execution team to come out from the bottleneck.
Construction Management
Developing site organization to suit the project needs; involved in selecting construction methodology & implementation.
Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to maximize the output.
Deployment of suitable manpower and equipment/materials and proper planning to ensure timely execution of the projects.
Resource Deployment
Material Planning & developing vendors for obtaining timely procurement of materials & equipment at cost-effective prices to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Ensuring suitable deployment of manpower & timely availability of manpower and equipment/materials to ensure timely execution of the projects.
Techno-Commercial Operations
Procuring sub-contracts and settlement of sub-contractors accounts & assisting Contract Manager.
Scrutinizing of contract/ tender documents for review tech. specifications, estimates, review of tenders, and evaluations of day to day activities.
Floating of tenders, fair price/market analysis, negotiation, and selection of contractor / Vendors.
Preparing tender documents, specifications, and bill of quantity for bidding purpose & evaluating tender bids and selection of the contractor.
Requirements
- BSc Civil Engineering
- Must have contracting background with reputable tier 1 company
- 20+ Years of experience into handling roads and infrastructure projects
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Gulf/Middle East countries
- Accountability for managing P&L
- Driven, ambitious, decision maker - entrepreneurial flare

The Corporate Contracts Manager will oversee an extensive portfolio of projects focusing on Project Contract Management, Claims Management, Construction Law, Legal Risk Management and all forms of Dispute Resolution.
Roles and responsibilities include providing commercial, legal and practical advice to Division Managers and Project Management teams within the businesses.
Further responsibilities include:
- Monitor, supervise and ensure the compliance with project related contracts
- Draft contractual correspondence and other legal documents related to project execution and the contract, in collaboration with legal team and senior management
- Provide support in the review of correspondence from clients/suppliers/subcontractors and draft responses to proposals, bids, contract variation requests and claims
- Provide support in preparing / assessing / negotiating contractual claims and variations, and all related documentation
- Provide accurate and timely advice to senior management in relation to projects/contracts and/or claims, and prepare regular reports as required
- Provide support in negotiations with project stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with all internal stakeholders as well as external advisors and consultants
Requirements
- Have a recognized qualification in a related legal, commercial or engineering field - LLB preferred
- Have 15+years of relevant experience, minimum of 5 years in the GCC
- Have significant experience in construction dispute resolution
- Have membership or certification of recognized industry body /institution - MRICS is preferred.
