  • Work with internal team as needed to make the bid aligned with SAP and Customer requirements
  • Provide visibility to the management team regarding opportunity solutioning and approval
  • Manage the MU or regional reviews and approval process (Reviews, bid council moderating & documentation)

One of the reputed University in Kuwait invites applicants for the position of Assistant/ Full Professor in Civil Engineering.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain curriculum descriptions and summaries.

- Create assessments to evaluate and enhance student performance.

- Identify necessary IT resources to support academic plans.

- Supervise student projects.

- Actively contribute to community service initiatives.

- Participate in graduation ceremonies.

- Collaborate in designing, coordinating, and evaluating unit syllabi to meet accreditation requirements.

- Serve as an academic advisor to students and monitor their progress.

- Collaborate with university administration and unit coordinators to implement remediation programs for struggling -students.

- Participate in laboratory activities as required.

- Undertake research activities leading to publications in international refereed journals and presentations at conferences and seminars.

- Develop joint research proposals with colleagues and external partners.

- Collaborate with professional associations and institutions to facilitate professional development.

Job Profile

Requirements:

- Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.

- Up to 5 years of experience in university teaching, research, or professional industry.

- Publication record including up to 3 peer-reviewed international journals with impact factor.

- Industry exposure through research, consultancy, or professional activities.

- Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate instructional units.

- Experience supervising honors projects.

- Active involvement in professional associations.

The individual will be responsible for installation, configuration and administration of IBM Cloud Pak for Integration Products (CP4I) cluster; API Connect (APIC), IBM App connect (ACE) and IBM MQ over RedHat OpenShift Container Platform. Following are the key responsibilities of this role.

  • Deploying and configuring the IBM CP4I platform
  • Creating and managing connections between applications and services to enable seamless integration
  • Monitoring the performance and health of the IBM CP4I platform and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Working with development teams to design, develop, deploy and test new integrations using IBM CP4I.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation and procedures for IBM CP4I administration.

Certifications :

  • IBM API Connect Solution Implementation

Primary Skills :

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT industry
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with IBM EAI tools like IBM API Connect (APIC), IBM App connect (ACE) and IBM MQ
  • Minimum 2 projects with experience in setting up IBM Cloud Pak for Integration deployment over RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) is highly preferable.
  • Minimum 2 projects with experience in setting up DataPower Gateway in virtual appliance.
  • Must have experience in IBM API Management to implement REST API, SOAP APIs, Plans, Security Policies.
  • Must have knowledge in load balancers, firewalls, DMZ and other network concepts related to DataPower.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Nexus etc.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes container orchestration system.
  • Must have experience installing and configuring IBM EAI tools in virtual and physical applicances
  • Must have experience in OAuth2.0, SAML, JWT and SSO
  • Must have development knowledge in REST and SOAP based APIs.

  • Working knowledge of networking topics such as protocols, firewalls, etc.
  • Working knowledge of SSL certificate management

  • Identify clear value drivers and develop compelling outcome-based value propositions to guide customer’s decision-making.
  • Operationalize the customers’ business strategies, identify relevant components, approaches, input, etc. to derive the best possible solution and help our customers to leverage the differentiating benefits of our cloud solutions.
  • Clarify expectations from various stakeholders, especially in very difficult cases; create a solution which integrates diverse points of view and serves as a starting point for future SAP business. Collaborate with customers, partners and SAP teams for the best possible implementation.
  • Take a step back if required and re-define the concepts so that a constant improvement is guaranteed (agility in solution design).
