D. Behavior management and duties:

  • To follow the Mamoura British Academy behaviour management policy and promote the TRACK Values to set high expectations.
  • Manage classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to pupils’ needs in order to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils.
  • Maintain good relationships with pupils and parents and follow the school’s procedures to manage and challenge any rare occurrences of unwanted behaviour.
  • Be a positive role model and demonstrate consistently the positive

attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected of pupils.

  • Carry out playground and other duties in a punctual, interactive and proactive manner.
  • Ensure that any concerns relating to behaviour & safeguarding are accurately followed up on and logged on CPOMS.

E. Wider professional responsibilities

  • To work as part of a curriculum action group, supporting planning, assessment, resources and special events linked to that team.
  • Support with organising and taking part in school events, outings and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers with regards to student’s achievements and well-being using school systems/processes.
  • Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school.
  • To run a weekly ECA each term to enhance the provision we offer for our students.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor degree in Education or Bachelor Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification

Minimum Experience:

  • Teaching experience in the English National Curriculum
  • EYFS experience preferred

Research Officer, Kuwait Chair Research Programme

This is a fixed term appointment for 24 months. The appointment is expected to commence in November 2024. The Middle East Centre seeks a postdoctoral Research Officer to conduct research on one or more of the Kuwait Programme themes. The post will run for the second and third years of the Kuwait Programme, funded by the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) and led by Professor Toby Dodge. The Research Officer will design and execute research projects leading to peer reviewed academic journal publications. They will engage with KFAS and the Kuwait Programme, and will contribute to the running of wider Kuwait Programme’s research and events activities. Candidates should have:  Published high quality research on one of the Kuwait Programme themes.  Experience of conducting research in Kuwait or another comparable country.  Significant policy-focussed research experience. Food & Beverage Controller - Male only

Food & Beverage Controller: -

  • Engineer the menu in terms of costing in conjunction with Executive Chef
  • Check the menu pricing on the Point of Sales (POS) systems and ensure the correct prices are loaded
  • Update selling prices in POS as per the instruction from authorized person
  • Review menu prices periodically to ensure prices are high enough for the organization to earn adequate profit margins
  • Monitor best-selling and least-popular menu items and advise the finance Manager, director accordingly so reviews can be taken/dishes can be removed, where necessary
  • Undertake physical stock checking in different departments like kitchen, bar, etc. periodically as per organizational standards
  • Ensure optimum stock of all Food & Beverage (F&B) items at all times
  • Prepare monthly listing of slow moving and obsolete F&B supplies and recommend further action
  • Organize and monitor stock taking and monthly closing procedures
  • conduct spot check to ensure that the goods received are as per specifications and ‎the deliveries of goods by suppliers are consistent with the receiving schedule and ‎the storerooms are not overstock especially during month end
  • Reconcile all inventory accounts based on actual purchases and actual inventory ‎stock take and allocate the expenses to the respective department based on their ‎requisitions
  • Sort, count, identify, verify, and track all material against invoices, orders, bills or other records
  • input physical food and beverage stock counts into the computer system and analyse results highlighting the discrepancies in opening, consumed, closing stocks for additional counts or reviews
  • Check the purchase orders against the consumption pattern, seasonal business volume and projected business of the organization
  • Ensure that all the items purchased and received in the organization at all levels are timely entered in the Material Management Systems (MMS)
  • Verify invoices against receiving record and compare them with purchase order and ‎purchase request, and ensure that all invoices are stamped and signed by the ‎authorized person
  • provide analysis of F&B stores consumption to handle the ordering of food and beverage as accurately as possible
  • control the food and beverage outlets in terms of wastage, pilferage, and efficiency

Senior Field Sales Executive

We have long been established as a leading trader of industrial packaging materials to customers throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate and highly motivated sales professional, ideally with a strong understanding of the packaging industry and some relevant industry experience, to come and represent us. You will be an extension of our Sales Team and enjoy a varied field sales role. As a Sales professional in the packaging industry, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of packaging solutions to various market segments, including retail, manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer goods, and other business-to-business sectors. Our focus is to provide customers with fully integrated and innovative packaging solutions, augmented by outstanding customer service.

The Sales professional will be responsible for developing sales with new customers and existing clients across a variety of developed market sectors in the use of packaging for their businesses. Identify, build and nurture new customers who have demand for the company’s products. Achieving the set sales targets, maximize profitability and maintain strong business relationships with an established customer base by promoting, selling & securing orders through a relationship-based approach. This will dictate your success in meeting agreed commercial goals and targets. The role will be field based with regular visits to the office.



Field Sales Executive Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation: Identify and generate new sales leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns and publicly available data. Identify the decision makers within client companies. Initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the company through sales presentations and pitches. Monitor customer accounts within your customer base to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited.

Planning and strategize: Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics to drive industrial packaging sales, revenue growth, and market penetration. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences within the packaged goods industry to proactively adjust sales strategies and seize emerging opportunities. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors to effectively position products or services.

Client Engagement: Reach out to potential customers and existing clients, building strong relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. To establish and maintain good working relationships with decision influencers to gain and service.


Sales Process Management: Handle the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals, ensuring that all sales activities are accurately recorded and tracked.


Quote and order: Prepare quotations tailored to the specific needs of clients, ensuring competitive pricing and clear terms. Quotation tracking, negotiation an enforcing price increases according to specifications.

Customer Support: Address and resolve client queries and complaints promptly, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor. Maintain a solid relationship with key customers, ensure the satisfaction of customers by monitoring their inquiries and any other related customer issues. Adopt a consultative approach with clients in tailoring appropriate solutions to meet needs whilst developing/maintaining a strong knowledge of all packaging solutions and full product range. Provide product or technical information by answering questions and requests.


CRM Management: Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) data to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on client interactions. Build and maintain relationships with clients to promote repeat business.


Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports and activities to management, providing insights into sales performance and identifying areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer needs and prepare regular forecasts/sales report to enable effective forward planning. Monitor sales performance and analyze data.


Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company. Achieving the sales and Gross margin targets through proactive engagement of well-defined list of existing and new customers and providing required specification & onsite support, leading to closing the sale

Other essential responsibilities: Continuously improve sales skills and knowledge through self-development and training opportunities. Qualify customers’ creditworthiness. Understand and perform cost savings analysis for customers. Coordinate with Accounts receivables management

Provide analytical support to evaluate potential price changes.

Requirements and skills

Do you have the correct profile?


We are keen to attract interest from experienced territory/client facing B2B sales professionals (ideally minimum of 2 years field based/client facing sales experience). You will be an effective negotiator, with the ability to actively build strong relationships via first class communication and influencing skills. You will enjoy genuinely ‘adding value’ to customers as your prior experience will already have seen you selling a solution.


Selling with integrity, you will be accustomed to delighting customers and be able to illustrate a recent track-record of success in meeting sales targets. Any prior sales experience gained within industrial packaging solutions as well as other similar distribution businesses (disposable food packaging, consumables, etc.) can also translate well.


What is most important however is that you have recent B2B field sales/customer facing experience, can demonstrate a record of impressive performance (must include some ‘new business acquisition success), are open to learning our business and sector and will be comfortable with a more technical solution-based sales approach. A fully valid Bahrain/GCC driving license is essential. You will also be using Tally Prime alongside the usual MS Office products, so computer literacy is important.

· B.Sc. / B.E. in Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute.

Job Post: ELECTRICAL DRAFTSMAN

Job Location: QATAR ENERGY (Dukhan)

Contract Duration: Temporary Replacement (45 Days Approx.)

Qualification & Requirement: Completion of Secondary Technical (12 years) education followed by OND and 2 years full time formal training as a draughtsman to Ordinary National Diploma level or equivalent, Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Good command of English, verbal and written.

Nature of Experience: 5-7 years’ experience in the Electrical Instrument drafting works for HV and LV Electrical distribution system, substations and Process/Production Plants, preferably in projects for oil and gas facilities

Primary Purpose of the Job: To produce electrical design drawing such as layouts and details relating to modifications to existing equipment and installations, or related to new projects for all Dukhan Fields oil, gas and condensate facilities, their satellite plants and services, oil and gas flowlines, trunklines, wellheads and transmission networks.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Produces electrical design drawings using primarily AutoCad and carrying out a variety of modification drawing services related to electrical drawings. To achieve this, electrical draughtsman shall carry out research in CLIENT Dukhan archives, visit production and wellhead stations, take measurements, make sketches and familiarize himself with the services and area. The services may include re-routing of cables, repositioning equipment, new plant layouts and installation, hazardous area drawings, single line diagrams, building modifications, updating drawings to make them ‘as built’.
  • Prepares, process and maintains files for a variety of related technical documentation such as single line diagrams, equipment maintenance records, underground cable, as-built routes and other project related drawings and documents. Also maintains a small library of technical data such as vendors’ maintenance manuals, equipment specifications, technical drawings and system schematic diagrams. Ensures that all records are promptly updated.
  • Prepares material take-off only for in-house works in coordination with OEE(D) Electrical Engineer by examining CLIENT’s and international standards for detailed specification of material to be used and preparing appropriate materials procurement documentation to enable the accurate ordering of materials either in—house or by Contractors.
  • Carries out site survey with CLIENT Contractors to establish site dimensions and measurements and identify problems at site. Checks drawings submitted to ensure that all survey and other site measurements are accurately reflected.
  • Prepares Electrical typical installation specifications and packages using experience and technical knowledge to provide tender and / or installation issues.

Doha British School Ain Khaled, was founded in 1997 and is a private co-educational day school for students from Foundation Stage to Year 13, offering the National Curriculum of England and the IB programme.
