Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree preferred in IT from accredited university
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on technical experience for analyzing electronic
transactional data with a strong working knowledge of a relevant AML, KYC, EDD,

CDD and Analytics software
  • Preferred Banking / Financial sector/area experience and analytical skills including
Central Banking regulatory knowledge related to AML/CFT.

engagement management
  • Strong oracle SQL and PL/SQL knowledge

  • 10 years of hands-on technical experience for analyzing electronic transactional
data with a strong working knowledge of a relevant AML, KYC, EDD, CDD and

Analytics software
  • Implementation & support experience related to one or more of the
following: AML, Transaction monitoring system implementation, development of

customer risk rating models, customer segmentation, threshold tuning, and data

quality assessments.
  • Experience working with any of the AML technology platforms preferred Netreveal
system
  • Working / integration experience with other banking systems including Core
Banking / Transactional Banking etc.
  • Knowledge of QCB /GCC regulatory laws and systems preferred.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant
stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements
of each project

ITA is seeking a Malayalam/Tamil Linguist to join the team in Qatar.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will provide high-quality language services in Malayalam and Tamil, including transcription, translation, and interpretation. These services are essential for accurate and complete communication from various sources, ensuring that the original meaning and intent are preserved across all tasks.

Services Overview:

  • Translation: You will be responsible for translating aural, video recordings, and other multimedia materials from Malayalam or Tamil into English, maintaining the integrity and intent of the original content. This role requires acute listening skills, a deep understanding of both the source and target languages, and the ability to write clearly in English.
  • Transcription: Your main task will involve transcribing audio and video content in Malayalam or Tamil, ensuring that the transcription is accurate, clear, and reflects the intended meaning of the original message. Proficiency in both the source language and English is crucial, as is the ability to interpret the content's context and nuances effectively.
  • Interpretation: Rapid recruitment and positioning to meet user needs for live interpretation and translation/transcription services will be a regular duty. This requires agility, precision, and a high level of linguistic competency in both Malayalam and Tamil.

The candidate must also be prepared to undergo periodic re-verification of language skills as mandated by the Government. This includes testing at the start of task performance and annually thereafter to ensure language competencies remain at the required level of proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Passport Requirement: Candidates must possess a valid passport. All passport-related expenses are the responsibility of the individual.
  • Physical Examination: Candidates are required to pass a comprehensive physical examination, including assessments of medical history, height, weight, blood pressure, HIV antibody testing, and a chest X-ray. Candidates must be free from communicable diseases and in general good health. Vision must be correctable to 20/30 (Snellen) with binocular vision and free of color blindness. Hearing should allow for ordinary conversation at 15 feet with either ear, with or without a hearing aid.
  • Physical Capability: Candidates must be physically capable of performing all duties, functions, and activities as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
  • Security and Health Compliance: Adherence to all specified security requirements is mandatory. This includes CENTCOM clearance and all necessary training, immunizations, and medical evaluations. Candidates must meet Category II (CAT II, SECRET) security clearance.
  • Language Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate mastery of English and the Specified Contract Required Language(s) (SCRL). This includes a minimum Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) level three (3) proficiency in their SCRL. Interpreters must understand and speak both the SCRL and English fluently, accurately convey and match the meaning of the source language, and be familiar with the cultural contexts and specialized terminologies of both languages. They must also observe protocols and master the modes applicable to various settings.

Job duties and responsibilities

  • Capable of preparing clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for MEP projects.
  • Capable of utilizing knowledge of various drafting packages and software to complete drawings.
  • Capable of preparing MEP shop drawing, plan, section, schematic diagram, schedule of equipment, equipment installation details.
  • Proficient in making final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.
  • Capable of utilizing knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings

Job qualifications/requirements

  • 2 – 2 ½ years of experience working as a MEP draftsman in any GCC country, preferably candidates with UAE experience.
  • Diploma or professional qualification in mechanical engineering.
  • Hands-on experience using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Able to start working immediately with little supervision.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail.
