Basic Function of the Position
:


The incumbent reports to the General Services officer and the Realty Supervisor, working under their direction to determine work priorities. The incumbent is a primary point of contact for all Landlords’ maintenance requests, and Landlords’ related preventive maintenance scheduling and requests for services and assures communication and coordination between the occupants and the landlords’ maintenance teams for action. The incumbent is the customer service representative for the GSO-Housing Section, communicating with personnel from all levels within the Embassy and outside it.

  • Develop and maintain a library of project documentation, resources, templates and completed projects.
  • Provide consulting services about project management standards and guidelines and provide historical project information as requested from the managed historical library.
  • Provide training on project management tools and provide periodic evaluations of the industry tools
  • Develop and communicate project management guidelines, procedures and templates
  • Be an integral part of post-implementation and Project closure activities

Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/Experience/Skills etc.)

  • 3+ Years of IT professional experience having at least one year in a similar capacity.
  • BCS / BS from a reputable local or foreign university is essential.
  • PMP Certification is desirable.
  • Traveling to different cities for Project implementations, meetings with vendors, self-training, and technical system/case studies
  • Attend phone calls during odd hours at home to manage critical system-related issues.
  • Working on off hours or on Weekends for rollouts or upgrades
  • Project Management Skills and very good English communication skills are mandatory
  • Analytical Skills
  • KSA Driving licence is mandatory.
  • Willingness to attend meetings with US headquarters is essential as part of the role.
  • Ability to travel for work up to 50% of the time however all travel-related expenses and hotel, and flight costs will be reimbursed.

Education: BE (Computer Science) or BCA

Experience: 2+ years of experience managing mid-sized IT projects

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time placement.

Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Nationality: Saudi Arabia only. ( no work visas/iqama’s will be provided)
