infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Linux and

Key accountabilities & Tasks

1. Server Infrastructure Management:

o Manage, maintain, and optimize a mixed environment of Linux and Windows servers,

ensuring their reliability and availability.

o Manage and maintain Oracle VM environment, OEM, OEMOC, Hyper-V, VMware

o Manage virtual machines and containerized environments for scalable and efficient

deployments.

o Support Exadata operating system and hardware level Experience to integrate

services SaaS to IaaS/PaaS and vice versa.

2. System Administration:

o Perform system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, security,

and maintenance of servers and associated systems.

3. Storage Virtualization:

o Configure and manage storage virtualization technologies, such as virtual storage

appliances (VSAs) and software-defined storage (SDS).

o Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance

with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.

4. Patch Management:

o Implement patch management procedures to keep server operating systems,

software, and applications up to date.

5. Security and Compliance:

o Ensure server security by implementing best practices, security policies, and

compliance standards.

6. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

o Diagnose and resolve system and network issues, including performance

optimization and system failures.

o Open cases and follow-up with vendors for technical issues as and when required.

7. Backup and Disaster Recovery:

9. Automation and Scripting:

10.Documentation:

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or

equivalent work experience).

Proven experience in managing Linux and Windows server environments, including

virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, OVM, KVM).

Proficiency in system administration and configuration, scripting (Bash, PowerShell), and

automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, or Chef).

Strong understanding of security best practices and network protocols.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications such as OCI foundation or architect, Certification in ITIL V4, Microsoft
